Exeter Lumber is situated on a 3 acre site on Portsmouth Ave. in Exeter, N.H. and has been the site of family-owned and operated Lumber and Building supply organizations since 1958. The Murphy family is continuing this tradition and is committed to serving it's community with high quality service and materials.

We are a full service Home Improvement Center offering a wide variety of products and services for our customers in the Tri-State Seacoast region. Eager to provide our clients with guidance, our knowledgeable staff can help guide you in the use and installation of products. We are also able to refer customers to our contractor clientele for those materials sold requiring professional installation.

Lumber Report

We stock high quality KD framing lumber from a number of the top mills in both the US and Canada. We only stock premium grade in our 96 studs. We choose to stock all #1 pressure treated framing lumber and premium grade eased edge decking, ensuring our customers are getting the highest grade framing lumber.

Engineered Report

Exeter Lumber has access to a wide range of engineered items from Coastal Forest Products. We have quick turn around access to a wide array of other products including I-Joist, Open Joist, Glu-Lam Columns, and more. Stop by to work with our experienced staff to calculate an engineered beam or design your engineered floor system.

Windows & Doors Report

We offer a variety of windows and doors featuring the latest in options and technology. Whether you replacing existing or purchasing new doors and windows for you home, it is a wise investment. This is a great little place definitely no hole-in-the-wall they've got a lot for every field. I won't lie their prices were pretty reasonable as well. Definitely somewhere we will frequent in the future. Props for good customer service as well

I needed materials for a small roofing job, and the selection at the big box stores was lacking, and it would take them a while to get more in stock. Exeter Lumber had a lot of color choices and their prices were slightly better! Their staff was helpful and it was a quick and easy experience.
