Services
August REI, LLC acts as an intermediary between the Lender and Borrower. Basic collection procedures start according to the legal docs provided; for example, if Note terms state Due on the 1st, Late after the 10th, we would start the process on the 11th.
Overall, August REI, LLC is a disinterested third party that acts as a "back office administrator" giving the lender as well as the borrower, peace of mind that all payments regarding a loan are being paid in a timely manner.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy and I wish I could give 0 stars. Easily the worst experience I have ever had with a loan servicing company. Customer service is nonexistent and you can very rarely get a real person on the phone. I will never for the rest of my life give this company any business and I pray that you do not either.

I highly recommend August REI. I have been with them for over 5 years and their service representatives always answer any questions I have about my house payments. Due to my on-time payment history, my credit score has gone up as they are one of the few servicing companies that actually report to credit. I can't say enough good things about Amy and her group. Thanks for all that you do guys!

Horrible customer service, when I first acquired service with them they were nice, but once I switched with them a complete turn around. They are very unprofessional they are disorganized, messed up my payment plan dates. They don't send notice letters or emails when they make changes to your account. Just bad experience after bad experience. I do not recommend. I will be changing as soon as I am able to. Do not make business with August REI

I spoke to your manager over the phone and he agreed to the mistakes made by august rei. Account went to “closed” without being reported to the credit bureaus. So don’t come on here putting off the blame to them, take responsibility like you did privately on the phone with me.
Very unprofessional, paid off 2 loans in December. It is now April and the credit bureaus have not been reported to since then. I’ve called multiple times and am always promised a call back. All this while rep is talking to me while I can hear using the microwave in

This company is an Absolute joke and headache for both lenders and borrowers .
As a computer wizard with 16 years experience in my industry , they have a system issue that the developer needs to fix or else they will be bankrupt or out of business with multiple law suits against them soon .
They are too stubborn to face the reality , needless to mention I run several businesses and have thousands of clients of whom I call “ dear “ , a lady named Nelly hung up on me for calling her “ dear “.

I've had four of my investment properties serviced by this company and they have done a wonderful job! There is an online dashboard which I can log into to see exactly what my loan balances are and where the money is going. The employees have assisted me in finding more inexpensive options for property insurance and have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me any time a problem arose. I recommend this company to any investors who sell owner finance properties or any individuals purchasing owner finance properties.
