LMS specializes in Deep Hole Boring and Gun Drilling up to 40 feet in length and up to 8 inch bore diameter.
This Niles BTA Boring Machine has a unique history. It was used to bore cannon barrels for Navy Ships. LMS spend two years retro fitting this old machine from manual operation to numerical controls (CNC). It has a 150HP electric motor drive. It's our largest drill at nearly 200' long and weighs in at 250,000 lbs.
