Individuals Concerted in Effort (ICE) Wellness Program- Program that provides self-help groups that encourage personal empowerment & wellness. Wellness & Recovery Support Services -Wellness Navigators offer assistance in linking to concrete services, advocate with consumers on both an individual and systems level, and serve as role models so that each service recipient learns the skills needed to advocate for themselves.
Intensive Family Support Services- These programs offer a comprehensive program of supportive services and activities designed to assist families who have a relative living with mental illness. Acute Care On-Call- 609- 517-8614 Available 7 days a week 8am-8pm for families of adults living with mental illness who are in crisis and receiving services from the acute care system.

Services
Our Wellness Navigators partner with consumers to towards addressing the needs of an increasing number of consumers who lack the resources, knowledge or skills needed to the make those next steps on their road to recovery. Peers offer other mental health consumers assistance in linking to concrete services, advocate with consumers on both an individual and systems level, and serve as role models.
The purpose of our Wellness Programs is to provide an environment of support and empowerment that promotes wellness and recovery. Mental health recovery is a journey of healing and transformation enabling a person with a mental health problem to live a meaningful life in a community of his or her choice while striving to achieve his or her full potential.
Intensive Family Support Services (IFSS) is a county-wide support program, administered by the Mental Health Association in Atlantic County for families of relatives with mental illness. Throughout NJ many families take an active role in care for a relative who has mental illness. This can be an especially difficult and challenging task.
The purpose of our ICE Wellness Program is to provide an environment of support and empowerment that promotes wellness and recovery for individuals who are experiencing a mental health challenge. Mental illness affects the entire family. If you feel that you need support or education concerning your loved one, please come to our groups!
MHA is committed to not only having our agency be an environment where people living with mental illness can come and feel respected, supported and encouraged, but we are also committed to creating a supportive community by providing mental-health-related trainings throughout our county. We offer trainings aimed at increasing mental health literacy and decreasing the stigma that is often associated with mental illness.

These people are wonderful!!! I know there's a multitude of possibilities for more conditions than I can think of! But, this is the "National Mental Health Association of America".... I might have been "lucky", but .... ( and I am definitely appreciative)... to have found the people there, that I did
... had I known about this earlier,
.... they could have probably save me a lot of pain and suffering!!! Sometimes everything can go wrong in your life, ... and it's not necessarily your fault- I got caught in a fire, had a nervous breakdown, my mother died,

Very supportive and definitely do their best to make as many mental health resources readily available to the community. Myself and others i know personally have found help through them. If theu don't have what you're looking for, they will definitely be able to connect yoy to another reliable source.
