Incredibly lucky to have found a team (doctor and staff) who are compassionate and kind. Dr. Sheikh took the time to understand how my pain was impacting my daily life and he provided reasonable and effective options for pain management. My lower back pain was keeping me from so many activities, but within a few months of seeing Dr. Sheikh, I was able to see the light at the end of a long tunnel!
This injection relieves pain in the neck, shoulders, and arms caused by a pinched nerve (or nerves) in the cervical spine. Conditions such as herniated discs and spinal stenosis can compress nerves, causing inflammation and pain. The medication injected helps decrease the swelling of nerves. The procedure is performed with the patient lying down.
Because superficial veins have less muscle support than deep veins, they are more likely to become varicose. Any condition that puts excessive pressure on the legs or abdomen can lead to varicose veins. The most common pressure inducers are pregnancy, obesity, and standing for long periods. Varicose veins may be invisible because of fat between your muscles and skin, but they can still cause symptoms like throbbing and swelling in your legs.
Spider veins are small, dilated blood vessels near the surface of the skin that can appear as red, blue or even purple threads that spider out on the skin. They typically develop on your legs, but it's not uncommon to have them on your face, chest and other areas of your body. Most spider veins appear between the ages of 18 and 35.

The office and all the doctors that help Dr. Shehk are fantastic professionals. My experience with them has always been that they take the time to see what you need and listen. Dr. Shehk is the best doing these injections really is how good is your doctor. He always does a wonderful job and I get relief. You could not find someone who cares more.

I met Dr Sheikh back in 2013 when I first threw my back out and was carried out of my apt screaming in pain by EMS and rushed to the emergency room. I honestly thought I’d never walk again. He had me up and walking again the next day! I’ve been seeing him ever since and very thankful to have a doctor like him who listens, is professional, yet is also friendly and interested in my personal life.
My back continues to worsen, but having a doctor like this has helped tremendously. It also helps that he has the convenience of multiple office access (pic below is the Paterson office). Staff was

Dr. Sheikh alone is a good doctor. But the way his office is ran is a joke. He has a nurse practitioner in Turnersville out of Dr. Abdulghani's office, 'Mediversity health', well between being stuffed into a small office with between 10-20 other patients and the rude receptionist with a wait of up to 5-6 hours and then that nurse who lies to the Doctor up north and writes your scripts wron

This place has saved my life. I had broken my ankle, damaged my discs in my back and neck and fell alsona deep depression. With the doctors help, the staff like amira-madelenis-nykijah and specially Dr. Wafeeqa are all so welcoming. She takes you in her office and privately talks to u. She isnt like other doctors that just dont care. Id never switch to another office only because for months we all grew a friendship ...it really means alot when you come in and they know your name! The doctor cares about my health and also always has other options ...she has fought the insurance companies to approve

The physician's assistant is one of the smartest women I've had the pleasure of meeting. The staff is pleasant. And the doctor is excellent! If you look at their timeline you can see Dr. Ednan Sheikh in an appearance on the Dr. Oz show. I would definitely recommend this practice. In fact I have already referred one of my very best friends and I believe she feels the same way.👍👍👍👍👍 5 thumbs up!

Truly the best pain management specialist I've seen in the nine years of living with chronic pain. He's conservative, jovial, and makes the visit all about you. The girls in the front are knowledgable and get to know you on a personal level, so it feels like you're walking into an extended family at every visit!
Only doctor I would see for pain management from this point forward.
