UR - German for "PRIMORDIAL, ORIGINAL, OR FIRST OF ITS KIND" is an augmentative prefix, in the case of our business meaning Original. Also named after one of the greatest legenday cars of the 80'S, THE UR-QUATTRO. At UR Motorsports, we take the love of cars to another level. Not just focusing on one certain aspect of a vehicle, but the all around nature of the machine.
When the part isn't available or no upgrade exists, there is always another option, BUILD IT! We always go beyond basics to make each and every car the best it can and should be. Everything from port and polishing, rebuilding heads, bottom ends, and full engines, we can pretty much do anything needed to make your car better in every way.

At UR Motorsports we provide top quality maintenance parts at an affordable level; everything from a basic oil change to a lengthy timing belt service. At any given point our cars need some type of repair. The problem is that cars are becoming increasingly difficult to diagnose and repair correctly. At UR Motorsports we have gone out of our way to purchase, not only the most up to date diagnostic equipment, but also the best tools in the business to handle any repair job.
Lets face it, sometimes the damage is too great or age has taken its toll and an engine has died. We don't like to think that way! If an engine has reached its mechanical limit or damage that is just simply time to take it out and make it new. Most of the time an engine can be fully rebuilt to factory spec or better, and we like to think it can always be better!

David and Mike are the most honest mechanic we ever been too. Been dealing with them for a few years now and never had no issues. My son takes his Supra and his GTR there and never no problems. Very honest and efficient! They are our go to guys for everything. You will not find more honest people like them. Great family business and will keep supporting family owned!! Reasonable prices and labor fees. Thank guys for years of great service. You are the best!!!!

If you're looking for a very honest mechanic, I recommend UR Motorsports. They have very friendly and honest customer service. I've gotten plenty of work done here. The guys are laid back and cool but very hardworking. They are very good at what they do. The prices here for labor is affordable. That being said, if you drive a Volkswagen and need service done to your vehicle, I highly recommend this place.

Dave runs an excellent shop. He and his mechanics are professional and do a thorough and very good job on every repair that I have taken to them for my very old Mercedes and son's BMW. I was sorry to see they had to move from their spacious shop in Rochelle Park to Lodi but will follow them as long as they stay within reach to me.
I highly recommend them and wish them and their business well during this Covid period.

I have a 2013 Volkswagen GTI I've been coming to them for years. I love my car and I love these guys. Their rates are fantastic. Their work is flawless. And they always go above and beyond. I live in Hopatcong and I drive all the way to Lodi to use them as my mechanic. Dave and Mike both do absolutely fantastic work. I would never trust anybody else with my car.

Awesome mechanics! Never disappointed! I have been going to them for about 12 years now and they are the most trustworthy and honest mechanics I have ever met. I will take my car to them over any dealership. The best mechanics I've gone to in a long time.Very knowledgeable and fair. I've been ripped off so many times through the years with people doing unnecessary work and I would always say let me know first before you do any work and they never did. You won't find that here.Dave the owner and Mike are my go to mechanics would highly recommend them.

One of the shadiest mechanics i have ever been too. First of all they had my car for a whole month. Then call me to pick it up after telling me it was good to go and safe to drive. I get there and mysteriously my transmission has no fluid and car does not move. They said they changed my oil and i still see the same black oil in there i had when i took it to them, Oh yeah its 2 quarts low also. Hey Dave what you did to me will most certainly come back to you or your family. Karma is very real brother! Crooks like you always get whats coming to them.

Took my 17 Ram 1500 to have JBA longtube headers installed. As with many aftermarket parts, the longtubes were not an exact fit (one of the pipes was rubbing on steering shaft.) These guys did not give up until the longtubes were modded and the truck was running properly. They were professional, patient and very courteous. Needless to say my truck will be going to UR Motorsports for regular maintenance.
