Arrived Saturday night. Saw roaches outside on the deck, a very large roach on the window treatment. Called and texted but no response. Slept all night with the lights on to keep them away.Texted the next day. They did not offer us another place to stay, but could get them to spray on Monday, when we were going to leave. Went home early after our cost for a place was $1,500. We will never stay there again. Another issue was there was construction next door . Apparently using a hammer drill. I cannot believe they never gave us another option to stay.

Condo was great, very clean, great view of the ocean. But, we booked First Flight Rentals specifically because it had an elevator, I have disability issues and stairs are very, very difficult for me. The day of arrival we get a text message that the elevator is down and new parts are on the way to fix it. When we first arrived we had current guests tell us the elevator had been down the whole week prior to there arrival, so we feel we were lied to! Called asking if there would be a partial refund for not being able to use the elevator, and they said no! The whole week I spent what should of been

This year’s vacation was not a good one. We thought my wife had an allergic reaction to something she ate. She suffered with pretty constant itching and rashes. We purchased some over the counter drugs to help. One we got back home, she immediately scheduled an appointment with her physician. It was not an allergic reaction. It was bed bug bites. I reported this to First Flight Rentals. They asked for a note from her physician which we immediately got and sent to them. They said that would allow them to immediately get an exterminator in to inspect the condo. I never heard anything back so I

We had a nice experience at this rental property. We loved being able to bring our fur babies with us and having our own personal hot tub facing the ocean. The area rug needs to be replaced soon but besides that everything else was really nice in the condo. It was also really nice having your own locker for beach stuff in the covered garage. We had an issue with our hot tub not working when we arrived and First Flight rentals had someone out there to fix it within the hour I texted them about the issue. They were very responsive.

I am truly disappointed to have to provide a negative review after years of staying at their facilities. However, after our experience last week, we will not be returning. For starters, the place was absolutely filthy: blankets, carpets and chair covered in dog hair. The place reeked of wet dog for the first couple of days, so it was evident that it had not been properly cleaned. Secondly, dishes were put away with food still on them. They were not run through the dishwasher, someone literally used them and just put them away. Hot tub quit working on the second day, security latch on the door was

This was my first time to visit the Outer Banks and my husband and I booked this trip to celebrate out 30th wedding anniversary. We have looked forward to this for so long and couldn't wait when we booked our trip. We had to drive 13 hours from our home to get there. Check in time was 4:00 at the condo we had booked and at approx 3:30 (30 minutes before check in) we received a phone call that said our room was unavailable due to construction and the balcony had been removed and covered with a tarp therefore we couldn't stay there. We were told that the property manager had just been made aware

My 2 golden retrievers and I enjoyed many weeks at this lovely condo. The decor was beautiful and the location was wonderful. One of my dogs was elderly and the walk to the beach access without any steps was perfect and the main reason for renting this particular unit. The sunrises from the balcony were magnificent. The end unit was very nice because it gave us extra views and a nice breeze from the ocean. I appreciated the carpeted areas because it was easier for my older dog to maneuver getting up and down. I used the George Forman grill every day. The kitchen was equipped with everything else

The location of this condo is fantastic, and the stairs down to the pool and beach from the second floor unit were terrific. The kitchen was well equipped. We've stayed in other units in this building and this one was the least well appointed in terms of furnishings. The beds were uncomfortable and the other furnishings were worn and not especially comfortable. We also thought carpet was a poor choice for the living room. We put down towels inside the door to make sure we weren't tracking sand inside, but a solid surface floor would have been a better choice. We'll definitely stay in the building

We stayed in Dawn's Patrol this past week and had a lovely vacation. First Flight Rentals was great to work with, providing us with all we needed to know via email prior to arrival. Upon arrival, the condo was clean and looked just like the photos on the website and a bag of "essentials" was on the kitchen counter--paper towels, toilet paper, towels for each bathroom, etc. One of our favorite things to do in the condo was sit on the balcony overlooking the ocean while enjoying coffee in the morning, reading in the afternoon and playing cards at night. This was our second time staying at First Flight Rentals and the first time in unit #314. We absolutely loved the location of this one bedroom condo as it was unexpectedly quiet though conveniently located near an elevator and stair well. This bright and cheery unit was well equipped with everything we needed to make our own breakfasts and lunches. Every dish, pot and pan, and appliance were clean and in working order.
