Peninsula Pines Resort
Our 30 acre resort features 1100 feet of frontage on Little Muskie Lake. We offer a protected sandy beach for swimming with a gradual slope, several piers, and a swimming raft. The playground features a large jungle gym with slides, horseshoes, and a small sandbox. We also added a beautiful outdoor pavilion next to the playground.

The Lodge has a full bar, pizza, appetizers, ice cream, ice, video games, pool table and a jukebox. It offers a great place to gather and hang out with friends or meet new people. The Lodge is open day and night and is one of the resorts main attractions. All of our cabins have a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, cooking utensils, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and stove with an oven.

Great little backwoods up north getaway. Rustic and friendly. Beer is cold and the pizza is hot. Stopped on my bike trip tour and Nyla was very accommodating on setting my tent up in the grass. Going to stop again some day.

Please note, I'm rating the RV campground only. The resort looks very nice. There are only a few RV sites and they are very small, but they do have full hookups. We stayed 2 nights and were charged $40 per night, although it says $30 on the website. The playground and beach are very nice.

I started going to Peninsula Pines (Westphals Resort) when I was 8 (I’m now 35). We spent a week there almost every summer until I was married. Since being married, I’ve been back 4 times. This place is truly my home away from home. It was truly a restorative vacation as well. With no phones or TVs, our time was spent fishing, swimming, reading and just relaxing. The sites, sounds and the smells are imprinted in my mind...from the echoing of laughter over the lake and through the trees, to the screen doors slamming after entering or leaving the cabins, to the sound of the sand beneath our sandals

We were up for a couple's only ATV trip in October. The colors were gorgeous, super nice cabins, great view, and a cool little bar. We will be back!

The cabins are clean with nice kitchenettes and bathrooms. Comfy beds. My kids love taking the peddle boats out on the lake. Been up many times and it's so relaxing, great place for a writers retreat. The locals at the bar are down-to-earth cool.
