Imagine how great the world could be if every kid could have a strong role model, gain confidence, empathy and build lifelong friendships. It starts with you making a commitment to be that role model and facilitate such growth. Camp Fitch YMCA hires committed men and women with a passion for helping kids grow stronger in spirit, mind, and body to do just that in the many aspects of work required to make these experiences happen.
It's rare for any of us to travel very far without running into a former camper, or parents of campers - and the thrill of these random encounters never wears off. We are very fortunate to have a strong alumni community whose engagement is so crucial to our success and, as the song goes, make sure that Camp Fitch is Forever.
Camp Fitch has a deeper impact when we are all rowing in the same direction. We want to support parents in their quest to raise children who become caring, successful, satisfied, and godly adults. Please stay connected with us and let's keep working together to make kids stronger.

I loved Camp Fitch when I was there for sixth grade camp. I had a great time there with all of my friends and the cabins are great. The cabins were nice and they basically had two giant rooms with a dozen bunk beds and that's it. I liked how calm the lakefront was and the activities they provided. The food is just as how I expected, I've heard it was poor quality, and it was okay. They have gaga, tetherball, and a place where you can sit by the waterfront. I liked it and made me mature a little.

The stress of planning a retreat for a large group far outweights the joy of actually being there. They tell me they have certain activities open, then they aren't. They tell me it's just my group, then it's not. We've had this weekend booked for over a year, but now another group who will be there gets priority for scheduling. Everything has waited until the last minute to get planned with the camp, and nothing is ever consistent. For $105 a kid, this is a joke.

This is an amazing place that provides an amazing experience for kids. I cannot say enough about the staff ..
My son Kane has been going to camp for 4 years sometimes twice a year and will always remember his positive experiences.
Mgmt and staff is the best and always look to care for the children.
My son evolves in a very positive way every time he has gone
Highly recommend. wes

I am a student that went there and my opinion of this is that the beds were kinda uncomfortable, BUT the staff was amazing and so was the rock climbing. I loved the horses. Now I have separation anxiety and I wanted to jump into the lake and swim home but I didn’t and I’m here. The food was okay better than my school food. But I do feel that if u want to go home or call your parent. You should be able to no questions asked. Also the people in my group were no help so we should be aloud to pick 1-2 of our friends if you have anxiety. But thanks for giving me a good time

Amazing summer camp! I have been back year after year and it always finds a way to one up itself! Staff are incredibly nice and caring and just the overall environment is amazing. There are countless activities and each and every day you have a fun filled day that never seems to bore. Great for all ages. It adapts to ages from 6-16. I started when I was 6 and now I am 16 and have fallen in love with camp over and over again for the past 10 years. You make friendships that last forever ( even when living on the other side of the U.S) and get such an urge to come back again and again. I would recommend

How on earth am I the first to review Camp Fitch?! This place is awesome and it's something my kids look forward to coming here every year. I fully anticipate my son eventually working here as this place is something he is really passionate about. The counselors really look after the kids and give them motivation to try new things and to make friends. The kids have so much to do I know they're never board and my son raves about the food and he is the pickiest eater on the planet. We are so fortunate to have a place close by that my kids can cherish.
