The ER is a complete joke. I have been with loved ones and for myself several times over the course of the last 6 months and every time it took at least 4 hours to get medical attention. And once said “medical attention” was provided, the people assigned to our needs were not professional nor helpful.

No Stars for Starr Regional. I came in by ambulance on Nov 1, 2021 with a heart rate of 185. The Ambulance medics attempted to slow my heart rate down with IV meds on the way, it didn't work. I was admitted to the ER and given another cardioversion, that slowed my Heart Rate down some. I saw a PA for exactly 60 seconds and was rudely discharged 4 hrs later with a script for a medicine that I was already taking. Needless to say, I rushed the next morning to see my Primary care physician, he went ballistic when he heard of the treatment. He immediately sent me to Erlanger ER. Once there, I was admitted

My mom was in this hospital for 5 days with her kidneys trying to fail and the nurses treated her like COMPLETE GARBAGE! At one point she had had an accident and they let her sit in her own filth for AT LEAST 30 minutes. A nurse had called for the janitorial nurse to come to her room and she never showed up. She cleaned it up as best she could by herself. When someone finally showed up, they helped her with a new gown and sheets but nobody even gave her a wet washcloth to clean herself up with because it was everywhere. I would not recommend anyone take their loved ones to this hospital!

Worst hospital I have ever been to. Three different people all with chest pains, one has had a heart attack before, all had to walk out after 6+ hours of waiting. Guy brought in by an ambulance is told to wait. A kid who was in a car accident forced to wait in pain. Guy who fell 40 feet out of a tree told to wait. Everyone had to sit in the waiting room with their cups of urine cause no one was around to collect them or anything. No touch free hand sanitizers dispensers. There was the most nastiest looking stuff dried all over the floor with wet floor signs but looked like they didn’t even try

Well I have to say that I have never had a bad experience with this hospital or the staff. ER staff always take care of me at their best and they have always been friendly. Same for hospital stays.Long wait time is at all ER hospitals not just one. All I can say is that If you don't like Starr Regional then go somewhere else.

I had to call an ambulance for myself the first Saturday of January. They took me to Star regional in Athens. I have never had to use an ambulance before. Of course they got me right in I was in terrible abdominal pain. My daughter showed up shortly after I did. They wanted me to give a urine sample. They never gave me a cup and I was in too much pain to Go to the bathroomgo to the bathroom. I eventually grabbed a bucket off the counter, I set it on the floor and used it as a toilet. Eventually the nurse came in and was harsh with me because there was stool in it therefore it was useless. She still

I feel my experience at Starr Orthopedics was fantastic. As you enter the sign in clerk knows you and gives you thumbs up. I feel like I'm wanted. Then Dr Slack did surgery on my.ingrown toenail. I was pleased withe gentleness and explaining what he will do. Dr Veale was Gentle on my news. Gave me steroid shots in knees. Explain what the procedure was. I'm very pleased.
