First Restoration Services "FRS" was started in 1987 by Chris Silliman and Shelley Silliman, a husband and wife duo that live in Brevard, NC. Chris is a fisherman at heart, and loves to go fishing with his two sons, Justin and Shawn. Shelley and Chris are also avid Ohio State University fans, but don't worry we won't hold that against them.
Chris and Shelley are still active with FRS in the daily operations, and their son, Shawn, will be succeeding Chris and Shelley to make a second-generation family owned company. Shawn's wife, Kelly Silliman, also works at FRS as one of the managers and will be Shawn's partner in succeeding Chris and Shelley once they retire.

We suffered a flood from an overflowing washing machine in a property that was under contract to be sold. Beautiful oak hardwood floors had started to cup and buckle. First Restoration came within hours after I called, took charge, fought on our behalf with a difficult insurance company, and did not leave until the floors were back to their original beautiful condition. We were so please with First Restoration that we hired them for a mold mitigation problem in another property. I strongly recommend them.

As a regional manager of a few restaurants in the area, it's great to have a company to contact that you can trust. First Restoration Services is one of those companies. After recently experiencing extensive water damage in my home, the mitigation team arrived quickly and promptly. Once areas had all been thoroughly dried and prepped, the contractor-in-charge, Craig Holland, scheduled and supervised the reconstruction crew. Each person I encountered was professional, skilled, hard-working, compassionate and personable. From the moment we called, the First Restoration Services team responded in a professional and timely manner. They came in less than two hours and began mitigation upon arrival.
