This is part of an ongoing process and we welcome comments and recommendations from those who live and work in the communities we serve. At Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center we strive to provide the highest level of care through our highly skilled health care professionals and leading-edge technology.
NFMMC provides patients with a range of surgical procedures performed by some of the most skilled and dedicated surgeons in Western New York. Our primary care physicians offer yearly checkups, routine exams, or extra care for patients across Niagara and Northern Erie counties. No, this is not a live virus. The vaccine has been developed to give instructions for our cells to make a harmless piece of a spike protein similar to what is on the surface of the virus. Once the protein is made by our cells, we get rid of the "instructions" from the vaccine and then our immune system builds natural antibodies, thus giving us some protection.
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, the only teaching hospital in Niagara County, offers residency programs in Family Medicine and Pharmacy. Memorial is accredited by the American Board of Family Medicine. The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) has awarded the Family Medicine program Initial Accreditation status.
Part of the Roswell Park Care Network and made possible by the Golisano Foundation and individual supporters. When faced with a cancer diagnosis, patients should never have to compromise in seeking the best possible treatment and care. Unfortunately, far too many residents of Niagara County are faced with a decision between quality of care and ease of access.

Alexander Collochio, the CEO, fired staff who refused the covid vaccine. Regardless if they had adverse reactions in the past. Regardless if they had prior infection. Regardless if they had a religious exemption. He defended his decision by saying “It is proven that the vaccine reduces transmission of the vaccine” [sic]
Assuming he meant transmission of the *virus*, I wrote respectfully to ask what the proof was. Surely they’d be happy to share the “proof” he referenced to make such a drastic decision.
They never responded. Just ignored my inquiry.

I have to say not only was I surprised but I was also impressed with how quickly they got me to triage and to a bed in the back in the section they called fast track. The entire time I spent here was damn near astronomical. But in the end, it was worth the wait. The emergency room staff was very attentive and helpful. I understand the experience of the emergency room of Niagara falls medical memorial center is not the same for everybody. I would still recommend this place to everyone. I want to extend a thank you to the emergency room staff and in particular the nurse and doctor that took care

Absolute dump.
4 hour wait in the ER to be turned away by the miserable triage nurses.
Numerous homeless people (unmasked) walking right by security into the lobby and consuming the ample trash drinks and food littering the lobby and hanging out for hours.
Avoid this impromptu homeless shelter masquerading as a Hospital.

I sadly have to come here monthly for blood work and appointments. I try to get there right at 7(when the lab is supposed to open) so I do not miss a bunch of work. The registration lady, that had a plaque saying she has had 28 years of service, does not even acknowledge that I or anyone else is waiting. 11 times out of 10 I have to go up to her little window and ask her what time she opens. Even thought I know its 7am and it's well after at this point. It should not take double or three times the time to register as it does to do a lab. If my insurance gave me any other option.. I would take it

I have a loved one there right now and has been there for several days at this point. They spent 2 days in the ER and now in a room that unacceptable in so many ways. They've not been given food this entire time (they're allergic to certain foods) and since they got there, has eaten only 2 bananas in a 3 day time period. Seriously? This is a hospital? No fluids, no electrolites, NOTHING! My loved one is in worse shape now than when they went in. If you have a choice at all - DO NOT GO HERE. If anyone knows how to get this to change, I'm open (and desperate) for ideas.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Was there tonight 7/23/21 for about 3 hours and never got past the 3 uneducated kids running the ER. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why the security guard was even speaking to me or why I had to discuss my personal health with him. Then I realized that as unintelligent as he was, the 2 people were not only scared to death but had no idea what they were doing. My Grandmother, Aunt and Mom all worked at Memorial when it actually resembled at hospital, what a shame. I dont need a generic response from the "OWNER" because you clearly dont care anyway or

We went here for the first time for a CAT scan. We were treated well and the receptionist was kind and caring. My husband was taken in a timely manner. I guess it was a little different in the back, where he went. But he just said it was slow moving.
Our only issue today was, we parked in the ramp, not knowing where to go. We were never told that there was parking right by the correct building.
Therefore we had a long, long trek. There's a reason why a CAT scan was ordered. Not feeling well and difficulty walking, it wasn't a great experience.

Great people but dirty facilities.
Emergency Room (ER):
Intake was fast and care was provided in a timely matter. Staff was well educated and informed. They communicated clearly with patient. The level of care provided was fantastic and they do a great job of prioritizing cases and making sure you are being cared for even if you are a lower priority due to severity of injury/illness. On the other hand, the place is dirty. On multiple occasions, I've noticed that the patient rooms in the ER have filthy floors. I would expect them to be much better cleaned. Some floors look like they haven't been
