Services
At Lake of the Woods Campground, you get the best of both worlds - camping with all of the amenities. We try to have everything on hand so you don't have to leave. Our store is known for having "a little bit of this, a little bit of that and some of everything." Ice cream and malts are a favorite with all of the campers and we like to shake things up by offering a variety of flavors that are always changing.
At the campground, you'll find lots to do. Families can enjoy the heated swimming pool and play volleyball or basketball. While the younger kids are swinging and climbing on our large playground, the rest of the family can play some Horse Shoes nearby. The Game Room (connected to the store) is a big hit with the older kids and a great place to hang out on rainy days.
Over the years, our visitors have created their own traditions, namely passing on their favorite summer vacation spot to their families. Because of this multigenerational sharing, Lake of the Woods Campground is great for family reunions! We take pride in providing a campground that is family-oriented.

Large campground. Landing, pool, large playground. Made up of mainly seasonal. 2 loops by the office are for traveller's. Office has ice cream, game room, and basic necessities. Owner is very nice. Quiet midweek. Clean restrooms. Grassy sites. Shade is hit or miss depending on the site and time of day. Good for groups as some sites face each other. Definitely will be back.

This place is amazing and truly great for kids. Quiet and peaceful, respectful and polite, exciting and entertaining, beautiful and clean. There is a pool and a marina, camping for rvs and tents, playground and fun events for children, to include a John Deere powered street train, movies at night, Halloween costume fun in june, and that's just my first day. I'll likely make this an annual destination at least while the boy is still young enough to enjoy these sort of festivities. I'm very pleased with this weekend camping experience and give every bit of five of five stars.

Called to make a reservation a few weeks ago, lady confirmed that they had a full hookup spot and took my information including credit card number. Thought we were set. Called a few days later about where to get a boat slip, guy answers the phone and gives me the number of the marina. Couple days later I get a call from the same guy telling me that they have been booked full for a year in that week and that I am SOL. Didn't give me other places to call or anything just left me high and dry. So now we are a week out from going and have to find a new place. Luckily Dale's on Lake of the Woods in

We stayed here for a week in the summer of 2018 in our 37' class A motorhome. We had made reservation months in advance. The site that they gave us was horrible..very small, right in our neighbors face!! I requsted to the office for a better space. They were rude and said they didn't have any other spaces available. That was untrue, as there were other better spaces open and no one occupied them while we were there. Also, we and others near us had electrical problems with the campground service with low voltage cut outs.

Our family camps every year in northern minnesota and this year we chose to come to this campground to switch things up. If you're looking for a north woods trailer park, this may be for you. We were expecting a more rustic camping experience but this place is packed to the brim with trailers. The amenities hardly make up for what it lacks. The staff was exceptionally friendly minus what I'm assuming was the boss, who is very afraid of dogs and not particularly welcoming. There are many full trailer homes that give the trailer park feel, and the 5th wheels are packed in tight as well. The sites

We LOVE Lake of the Woods Campground! This is our fourth year in a row and it's our very favorite campground. Between the pool, the ice cream, the marina close by, the laundry facilities and the spacious camp sites, it would be hard to pick a favorite aspect. The owners are so fantastic, friendly and helpful! I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
