Services
Horizon Psychiatry is an adult psychiatry clinic offering medication management for psychiatric conditions. In addition to medication management, brief psychotherapy may be provided along with psychoeducation. Psychoeducation may include information about medications prescribed as well as non-drug interventions that may be implemented.

I have been a patient of Horizon Psychiatry for well over 5 years. Jean Kirk is fantastic!! She has worked with me with her genuine care and compassion, helping me find the right medications that help keep me successful, this includes getting rid of prescriptions that others had put me on. She is a great listener and does not ever TALK AT YOU and send you on your way in 5 minutes. I’ve had MANY other psychiatrists in the past and none of them could ever compare to the care that she provides for me. As wonderful as Jean is, the entire staff is top rate and very helpful. You are not a number!!

I have been seeing Jean Kirk as my psychiatrist for about 5 years and she is very helpful and also very attentive to concerns about medications. She makes sure to try the most generally successful medication with the least side effects first and then works with that outcome whether or not another medication would be a better fit. She is very good about getting back to you with any medication questions. Would highly recommend as I have tried a few other psychiatrists I didn’t have as good of luck with.

My son is a patient of Ryan Zinken's at Horizon. We came to him 3 months ago in a desperate situation, he was over medicated and not doing well at all. Over a period of 3 months, we have successfully tapered off 2 problem meds and he is doing the best he has done in 10 years. There are continued challenges of course as we continue to manage his medication but we are no longer fighting the bad side effects of meds which were causing him more harm than good. I want to thank Ryan for listening to us and taking a geniune interest in restoring our son's mental health. I also want to thank the staff

I found the office manager to be horrifically rude and lacking in basic human empathy. Had to walk out without seeing the psychologist because it was made clear that following policy to the record was more important than getting someone in who was clearly upset and needed help. Even though there is a catastrophic shortage of good psychiatric help in this state, I cannot in good conscience reccomend this office for anyone.
