I rented an apartment from Lambrou Real Estate for two years and have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Nick, Costa, and the rest of the staff were always kind, reliable, and very responsive. The common areas of the building I lived in (320 Dryden) were well kept and the maintenance crew was quick to fix any issues that arose in my apartment. I would highly recommend Lambrou to anyone looking to rent property in Collegetown – they are great people and will do all they can to make sure their tenants are satisfied.

Beware- especially if you are moving into an older property!
The landlords don't take good care of the older houses that are for rent, so naturally they are falling apart when you first move in (any Cornell student will immediately understand that this is unfortunately all too common in Collegetown). All "damages" got blamed on us when we moved out and we lost a huge chunk of our security deposit. The "damages" that we got charged for were simply just products of an old house that hadn't been repaired in years. These landlords will do anything to take your money,

This is the best landlord in Ithaca. Parents of Cornell students, if you are reading this do not hesitate to rent from this landlord. I have lived in a Lambrou apartment for two years, and I have only had pleasant experiences. Nick, Costa, and the rest of the office are always friendly. Anytime i had a question, concern, or maintenance request it was handled quickly and professionally. I cannot recommend this landlord enough.

11 of us rented a house from Lambrou for the 2017-2018 school year. The Lambrou team was very courteous, respectful, and responsive. There were a few incidents that happened throughout the year at our house and they were very understanding and would get things taken care of in a timely manner. Halfway through our lease the washing machine wasn’t working properly and Nick bought a brand-new machine within a few days. They were very straight forward when it came to dealing with security deposit returns and end of year assessments. I’ve dealt with other Ithaca landlords who have made that process

Lambrou Real Estate, as it relates to me and my family, is our 1st collegetown rental agency. My daughter, without my assistance, partnered with her friends to rent a home for their 2018/2019 year in college. Knowing topical Collegetown housing, I knew not to expect much. The house lived up to my expectations. But it was a perfect location for my daughter (she wanted to be there). And as expected, there were issues. Some needed to be addressed immediately, others not so urgent. This is where open and honest communication with the realtor is a make or break experience... let’s face it, our daughters

After renting from LRE for 2 years I can honestly say I have absolutely no complaints! The staff is welcoming, friendly, and understanding and anytime I had any questions or concerns Nick was always very responsive and helpful. The common areas were always well-kempt and clean and the maintenance crew went above and beyond to resolve any issues. There is a gym in the building which is rare for college town and greatly appreciated during the long winter. My friends and I were genuinely sad to leave the place after graduation!

Like the previous review I would say to avoid leasing from Lambrou at all costs. He may seem nice at first but you will end up with endless problems once your lease period is over. He will try to take your money away using any method possible, and I have lost parts of security deposit for claims that were completely false. He is also very very rude over email and will not try to work with you when you question him about issues. If you want to avoid any kind of drama altogether, don't lease from Lambrou.

I'm so glad that I chose to live in a Lambrou Real Estate apartment. In fact, I had such a great experience that I chose Lambrou again for a second consecutive summer.
