From the moment we meet you and your pet, it is our goal to form a genuine and lasting connection. So whether you visit us for a thorough annual check-up or during an urgent-care crisis, we are here to listen and offer our expert guidance. We welcome not only dogs and cats, but also exotics, such as small companion mammals and reptiles.
Annual exams are also recommended for your exotic and pocket pets. While pocket pets do not require vaccinations, they should be weighed and examined for possible problems. There are many complex husbandry issues that pocket pets can face, and our staff can help. Vaccines are a critical part of your pet's health.
I am honored to be able to offer integrative medicine at Healing Paws. I love the deep connections and relationships that develop with both pets and owners through these sessions. We will do our very best to accommodate your pet's emergency needs during our operating business hours. Initial triage, management, and stabilization of a companion animal or exotic patient before referral to emergency clinic.

Good oral hygiene starts with regular health screenings by your veterinarian and requires a well-rounded approach to preventive and diagnostic care to optimize oral health throughout your pet's lifetime.

They helped us with the end of life of our beloved 13 year old English mastiff Princess. They exercised compassion and their knowledge was very comforting to my family at a very difficult time.

I love this veterinary practice from the front desk staff to the vet techs and assistants and the veterinarians. I've got quite a few pets of my own and I also foster dogs so I've had the pleasure of bringiing my animals here quite often. The physical space is clean and bright, the team members are all pleasant, engaging, and focused on helping both your pet and you. Many times they've gone above and beyond to ensure my pets have been seen as quickly as possible. Our senior dog has multiple issues due to aging. Dr McLean is thorough in her examinations and addressed all of our concerns. In all the years I’ve owned pets and all the vets I’ve visited , this is top notch! So incredibly professional from the moment you walk in the door ,such a kind and caring staff. My dog Vinny recently had surgery there, I was so overwhelmed with it and they made it so easy on me , their caring surgical team were so kind with all my questions and phone calls. Dr. Mari McLean is the most compassionate and understanding veterinarian I have ever met in all my 50+ plus years of having animal companions. She has that very rare gift of professional expertise combined with an insightful wisdom about what your animals truly needs. I cannot recommend her highly enough! My cat (Ethel) can be a bit of a monster at the vet, but Dr. Hodinka and staff knew exactly how to handle her to make the experience way less traumatic for everyone. I've never seen her calmer at a vet's office before, thanks to them coming up with a plan to make this as comfortable of a visit as possible for her. Definitely our best vet experience!
