Poor level of worksmanship and doug is probably the most unfriendly person ive met. I had an issue with fitment of some lids he built me i left my truck there all day so he could pull measurements and it just wasnt enough time becuase neither fit. When i brought the lids back to his shop and said i had a small problem i would like addressed he became angry and flipped one of the lids over on my truck after of an exchange of words about his ridiculous unprofessional behavior he ended up throwing my money at me. So i left jokes on him all i wanted was a simple fix but it seems he was incapable and

Risky business going on at Weeks Machine Shop. They’re not helpful what so ever and the worst part is they don’t even care to be. They want your money, and that’s it. BEWARE of pricing. They try to trick you to come in for an “exact price” which c’mon now we’re in 2021 we all know what that means. They want to bring you in, waste your time while trying to convince you of the “deal” when in reality it’s because if they said their prices over the phone people wouldn’t even come in. The owner is exceptionally nice went out of his way to help me with my little job he price the very fair I was very happy with the work he done and the amount of time it took him to finish if you need anything fabricated welded I would suggest to go there and ask for I think his name was Doug I just have a little handyman business and he said bring all my stuff to him I says no problem I've been going to Sarasota and I found him here in Venice he's the best I'd put it to you that way don't go nowhere else

Went to get some stainless steel. Guy was basically telling me I was not worth his time. He was writing a company for me to go to and I said don’t worry about it I’m not going to waste your time and turned around and walked out. As I was walking out he was swearing at me behind my back. I just laughed. Don’t go there if you want to get raw metals. He is “80$ an hr shop “and that is not worth owners time to “spend 45 min for ten bucks” hope this helps

Worst machine shop every experienced.They damaged the part and billed me to repair the damage they caused to the part. The owner has a real anger issues and became out of control throwing my part across the room because I did not want to pay for the repair damage they caused. I had to have the part that day so I reluctantly paid.
