When we founded Balmorhea Towing and Truck Tires over ten years ago, we set out on a simple but all-encompassing mission: to deliver the premier towing and recovery services our neighbors throughout the greater Reeves County area deserved. A little over 2 years ago I was in between jobs, sitting at home, when my sister called. She said Sheffield Towing was looking for tow truck drivers - would I be interested? At that point, I knew nothing about the towing industry, but decided to visit with the owner anyway. The meeting went well, and I decided to give it a try.
Our sister company Sheffield Towing Service is located in Sheffield, Texas just off of Interstate 10. Our sister company, Sanderson Towing and Truck Tires is located in Sanderson, Texas on Highway 90. Our sister company, Fort Stockton Towing and Truck Tires, is located in Fort Stockton, Texas just off of Interstate 10.

We needed a low belly tow trailer for our 30 foot travel trailer that had lost the wheel and had a bent axle. Dustin and Mike travelled over 3 hours to rescue us off the 10. Tied up the axle and carefully loaded and secured our trailer. They knew what to do and got right to it. Highly recommend this crew. This was a really rough salvage on a sloped side of the road. Their dispatch was also awesome working with our insurance

I had a flat tire fairly close to their shop. The tire truck driver, Larry, responded quickly and determined the best course of action was to tow my van to the nearest town for replacement.
Larry went back to get the tire truck and hooked up the van in the rain and had a positive attitude during the entire process.
During the drive to town, Larry drive safely in the rain and was very courteous. He unhooked the van when we got to the shop and we parted ways with a handshake.
Glad to have the opportunity to deal with Balmorhea Towing. They were top-notch.

We were traveling from Texas to California in a rented RV and had a rear-inner-tire blow out, between Ft. Stockton and Pecos. Frank came to our rescue and made sure the rest of our tires were good to go! Sadly, we didn't have cash to tip Frank, but we'll be sure to take care of him when we reach our destination. Thank you Frank for saving us and stay safe out there! To all you travelers out there, please change lanes when you see service professionals helping stranded motorists as well as the truckers who are taking a rest to safely deliver goods across the states! They deserve the utmost respect

Billy was awesome! He helped tow my old truck and camper to El Paso from Van Horn, and he just went above and beyond helping us out. It was hard to get the truck into the parking lot where we were going to be storing it, and Billy stuck around to help us get it parked despite that it took almost an hour to do. After stressing to try and get the truck towed and all that, it was such a relief to have someone so helpful and kind to help out, even when he didn’t have to. Truly appreciated it so much!

Balmorhea Towing was the company that was assigned to our family through our roadside assistance. They truly went above and beyond. They got a flat bed truck to our location quickly, then drove over 100 miles to get it to our next location. Having a tire blowout when your moving across country is a scary and stressful situation, they truly made our day better and we were able to get the car fixed and back on the road the next day. Billy was our service provider and he is amazing. Told us everything we needed to know and put our minds at ease. When our car got to the next location he got unloaded
