Teddy is working on becoming acclimated to the office and working with patients and is well on his way to working for many days ahead. Many of our patients have already fallen in love with Teddy, and you can, too, during your next visit!

To practice orthodontics, the Drs. Benton spent 11 years in training (four years of college, four years of dental school, and three years of orthodontics residency). The orthodontic student spends three years learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and to guide facial development. From the moment you contact our office to your final retainer check appointment, our goal at Designer Smiles by Benton is your complete satisfaction.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Louisiana State University and continued at LSU's School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Benton is board-certified and was the first orthodontist in Calhoun County to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Barry received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Furman University and went on to receive his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Barry continued his education at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Chauncey received his Bachelor of Science degree in public health from Brigham Young University in 2015. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2019.

Following graduation from dental school, he attended residency at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where he received a Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry in 2021.Dr. Chauncey married his wife, Kailee, in 2013. They both grew up in Las Vegas, NV but first met while attending college in Utah.
