Cake by the Sea's Culinary Creations will make your special occasion memorable. We use only the finest ingredients - real butter and fresh cream.
We have chocolate and yellow cake cupcakes filled and iced with buttercream or fudge. These are our standard cupcakes that are usually decorated for the season and are available everyday in our store.
Occasionally we have a varied assortment of signature line cupcakes available which can include such delectable flavors as red velvet with cream cheese and chocolate delirium, which is our delicious chocolate cake dough filled with chocolate ganache, topped with chocolate mousse, drizzled with more chocolate and topped with a cherry.

The cake was decorated nicely. However, they spelled the birthday girl's name incorrectly despite me saying it was an unusual spelling and having the order taker spelling it back to me. We got a chocolate cake. It was good. Far from great, but far from bad. It was okay. Would I go back? No. I'll try some other places first. Nice people - just a fair product.

I found Cakes by the Sea on Google. I saw another post about them being in town for her mother’s birthday with a cute cake design! Cakes by the Sea team quickly responded to my inquiry and let me know they could make my cake in a short turnaround time. Did I mention the price was so affordable?! I almost thought they were joking when they said $30. This cake is easily worth $80+ where I live. My mother absolutely adored her cake and she said it tasted amazing! It smelled delicious too!

The cake was decent. We were told to text our picture to a cell phone. We received a response confirming the pic was sent successfully. The cake ended up with a completely different picture. Claimed they couldn't figure out which cake the pic belonged to even though my wife sent my name and cell phone # with the pic. I don't understand why we weren't contacted if there was some sort of confusion. I feel they should reevaluate their procedure if there are questions

If I could give Cakes by the Sea 10 stars, I would. They were so great to work with and bake a beautiful and delicious cake for my dad's birthday. We were out of town and didn't have a car to pick up the cake, they were so easy to work with on delivery and great with communication. THANK YOU!! We go to Myrtle Beach every other year and we will definitely be repeat customers.

Was in the area to visit mom and dad and to celebrate my daughter's 11th birthday. Long story short, I was hoping for a local small business as opposed to a big chain store or supermarket to make her cake.
We found this place with only three days notice, and they came through in a big way. The lady who helped us was so friendly. We were visiting North Myrtle Beach for vacation during my mom’s birthday, so I called and placed an order over the phone for a cake. They were very helpful and kind, and the cake came out well-beyond my expectations. It was beautiful and so delicious. We got the yellow butter cake with strawberry buttercream inside, and was perfectly moist and just the right sweetness.

Ordered a Mario Bros cake for my kids birthday, marble cake with fudge buttercream filling. DELICIOUS! I provided images for what I wanted that were done in fondant and the decorator did a wonderful job bringing the cake to life with delicious buttercream. Will be ordering cakes from Cakes by the Sea for years to come I'm sure. Thank y'all!

After a long day of sampling wedding Cale's, we stumbled into Cakes by the Sea with little enthusiasm, however upon trying the cupcake we were amazed. Even being completely full, I would not leave one crumb of these cupcakes behind, they were so good and stood out as a clear winner to be our wedding cake. We couldn't decide on a flavor, but the owner assured us doing these layers of different flavors and frostings would be no problem. Chris and her team came through again! I ordered a Coastal Carolina University graduation cake on Thursday and requested a 4pm Friday pick up. "What flavor filling," she asked. After listening to the extensive list, I decided on 'dreamsicle' and what a great decision I made! The cake was beautifully decorated and tasted amazing. Our guests gobbled it up.
