Dr. Benjamin Cox was my surgeon for a shoulder surgery to repair a SLAP tear and rotator cuff injury. The results were excellent. My shoulder is pain free and I have full motion and use of my arm.
From my first visit on …he was personable, concerned, friendly, and professional. Dr. Cox called me twice the evening after my surgery to check on my pain and go over any concerns that I had.
I highly recommend Dr. Cox and I would not hesitate to go to see him again… even though I hope that I don’t need to see him again!
The Mt. Pleasant area and CMU are so fortunate to have Cox Sports Medicine

Dr. Cox took the time to talk to me about my injury. He walked through all of the options available for treatment. When deciding on surgery he was very thorough on what what he would be doing along with complications that could arise. Follow up the same day after surgery to see how I was doing was nice. The staff was great also. I would recommend Dr. Cox to anyone.

I had severe carpal tunnel in my right hand for a long time and dealt with severe pain and numbness that would wake me up at night. It was very debilitating to the point I could not write or do normal daily activities. I was hesitant about having surgery and now I’m so glad I went through it. Had right carpal tunnel release surgery and Dr. Cox did an AMAZING job. It’s been a week since my surgery and the incision is healing well and no longer have the pain and numbness that I was having. I’m able to sleep and do what I can with stitches still in place but once they come out I’m certain

I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Cox and his staff. From my first meeting with him he took the time to explain and draw a diagram what my surgery would entail and even repeated it to me because I needed time to process what he was saying. Additionally, after my surgery he provided his cell phone number in case I needed anything. I felt extremely comfortable and a priority.

Dr.Cox is amazing. Took time to explain my son’s injury to both my husband and I. Went over the c-rays and even went over his ultrasound because I wasn’t in the room. Walked us through what our son needed to do over the next few months.
The staff is amazing. So nice and friendly. Wish he worked closer to where we live. Would recommend him to everyone.
