Rita has been the dental hygienist at our office since 2003. As a mother of 4 children, she still found time to graduate from SUNY Farmingdale with the prestigious Alpha Mu honor society award for maintaining a perfect GPA. Rita enjoys spending time with our patients, especially educating them on how to keep their smiles healthy.

Preventive care includes exams, cleanings, root canals and extractions to maintain oral health for your entire family. An oral examination is a visual inspection of the mouth, head, and neck, performed to detect abnormalities. Radiographs allow for a more complete examination, helping the doctor to detect cavities, problems in existing dental restorations, gum and bone recession or other abnormal conditions within the mouth, head and neck area.

From the second I walked into the office I knew I had made the right decision to change dentists. From the office manager Amanda to the dentist assistant Brianna who escorted me to the examining room to my new dentist Dr. Meshkati. She was so welcoming and extremely caring. Before we even started she knew how nervous I was and how anxious I felt ( past experiences with previous dentists) and listened and understood my concerns . I immediately felt my anxiety go away. I highly recommend this Dental office to anyone looking for a new dentist who truly cares! This is the ONLY place to go. Even though

Most pleasant dental experience I’ve had in a while. I have been to 4 different dentists in the area within the previous year and Dr. Katherine Meshkati is by far the best dentist I have visited. Very glad I found her, she has a calming presence which made me feel very comfortable (which I have never felt in a dentist office before). Prior to seeing her I’ve had quite a few negative experiences with fillings but Dr. Meshkati fixed my bite and I haven’t had any tooth pain since. She’s the best!

Manhasset Dental/Doctor Zapantis is unbelievably thorough and professional and caring. Tooth by tooth she examines and recommends a course of treatment with a conservative inclination. Her staff is equally adept and friendly as well. My wife and I will certainly will be returning for further treatment.
