In 1944 our great aunt bought what was to become one of the first Licensed Nursing Homes in the Pacific Northwest. In the late 50's our Grandparents, Harold and Daisy Hyatt bought the building and renamed it Yakima Convalescent. For many years the building was completely full and 100% privately occupied.
In 1979 our parents Norman and Carol bought Yakima Convalescent and the recently constructed Yakima Retirement Manor. Since then we have taken up the family mantle and formed Hyatt Family Facilities. Now with several facilities in the Yakima Valley and Spokane, quality is, and always will be, our number one priority.

Services
There are a limited number of private rooms available at each facility. While priority is given to patients who require isolation for medical or psychological diagnoses, we do place other residents in private rooms when they are available. We generally recommend 10am to 8pm, but we are very flexible in this area.

Most horrible experience for my mother and myself. Unprofessional, rude, did NOT take care of my mom who laid in vomit for two hours and slept in a bed with bloody bedsheets for over a week. Did not communicate with doctor’s offices professionally, flat out lied, however “it’s right here written in our notes” was said all of the time. Anyone can write whatever they want in a note…. They kept my mom for over a week after Medicare stopped paying because it was reported to Medicare that she no longer needed care, I was told that was taken care of with Medicare because the doctor wouldn’t

Do to hip replacement our 90 year mother was at Landmark. At the end of her treatment we were offered a wheel chair due to her age and disability. We were told medicare would take care of it.
3 months later, Howards medical collection called us.
She owed $1400. they will not accept payments. They will not accept returns. What a terrible way to pray apon the elderly. This women barely gets 800.00 a month.

Worst place to take your loved ones! The Care givers don’t care about the residents. I went in there to visit and pressed the call button because the resident needed to use the restroom and they took more than an hour to actually come to the room and check what he needed! Thank God he is not there anymore he is so much happier at his new place.

I had the privilege of staying for a little over a month in the Landmark facility in Yakima, WA. I have nothing but good things to say about the care that I received there. My nursing staff was second to none and my re-hab therapists, Darren and Chanin were the "BEST"! They pushed me even when I told them that I couldn't do it, but pushed in a gentle and loving way. THANK YOU!
My only criticism would be the food. The quality was not what I would have expected from a facility as high in quality as Landmark is.
I will recommend Landmark to anyone I know who requires either nursing or re-hab care
