Karen gives so much more than most business owners. Lulu's has served Lincoln for over five years great food and service in addition to those in need. Thank you for caring...

The mission of this place is amazing and the food matches. Sitting down for lunch in the courtyard/fountain area can't be beat. They'll give meals, water, and snacks to anyone who needs it and really take care of Lincoln's often hidden poverty. Just know each meal you get here feeds you and others.

Great place to grab a lunch and sit outside. Important to know there is no indoor seating but it's worth it!

Delicious chicken salad!
edit: I came back today to try a soup, and got the "Vegetable Chowder". It's absolutely fantastic. Subtle, creamy, warming. I can't slurp it down fast enough.

These guys not only have great food, but they serve a great purpose in the community. I've tried several of the goodies here and was never disappointed. The owner Karen really has a passion for serving the less fortunate of our city. It is my pleasure to support this great local business.

I don't know what happened. I ordered just a chicken salad sandwich, just the sandwich, and I tipped 15%. $7.52 was my total. I received the worst chicken salad sandwich I have ever had. The driest bread with a small scoop of dry, tasteless chicken. This makes me sad because it's located in such a beautiful location. The courtyard is amazing and so is the shade during the hot months. I could have bought a pound of hamburger and a loaf of bread for under $7.52. I have to admit that I threw most of this away, I just couldn't eat it. The nice thing though is that this can be easily fixed, it's chicken

I ordered a hot meatloaf and cheddar sandwich on white (they were out of marble) and a slice of apple pie. The sandwich was fantastic. I've made sandwiches out of leftover meatloaf before, but only with bread and mayo. I never though to add cheese, butter the outside of the bread and then toast it like a grilled cheese. I'll definitely get that again. Unfortunately the pie was a huge disappointment. I'm not sure if the pie had been sitting for a few days, but the crust quite literally had the consistency of cardboard and was flavorless. The pie filling was quite watery/liquidy but the flavor of
