You will not find a studio with instructors who have a passion and love for what they do like Majestic. They pass that same love and passion on to every dancer who walks in. Every dancer is unique and they bring out the potential in every one. They push them to be the best they can be on stage and in life. My daughter has been taking classes at Majestic for the past 7 years and has loved every minute of it. Can't say enough wonderful things about all the teachers!.
Services
Majestic Dance Academy opened its doors in August of 1987. It was established by sisters Susan Myers and Donna Oas. They began with a small one classroom studio and have grown into a large 3000 square foot building. The directors have danced all of their lives and naturally have the gift of teaching the love of this art.
Donna graduated from high school and moved to New York City for a year of intense ballet training and was then accepted into Houston Ballet in 1976 under the direction of James Clouser. In 1977 she was accepted into Dallas ballet and performed in the company until 1983 under the direction of George Skibine and Flemming Flindt.
If you wish to drop off/pick up your child, please make sure you drive around the entire building and pull up past the door. We ask that your dancer enters/exits out of the passenger side for safety. Please also be aware of others in the parking lot area, as it can be a tight fit if someone is wanting to back out of a parking spot.
Through this class your child will continue to focus on ballet, the foundation of all dance classes. This is also the level we introduce jazz, lyrical, and hip hop to our dancers. Your child will be able to showcase what they have learned throughout the year at our end of the year recital. Tuition is $75.00 for 1 hour per week, $95.00 for 1.5 hours per week, and $138.00 for 2.5 hours per week.
Our Junior level is for our more serious dancers. They will invest a lot of time and effort in this level. They will get to focus on the classes that fit their personality and the times that work with their schedule! Class placement is at the sole decision of the directors. A student will not advance to the next level until mastering the technique and terminology of the present level.

Majestic Dance Academy has been a wonderful fit for my daughter. She enjoys the classes and all of the teachers. I like supporting a family- run business and they have been in business 30 plus years. The teachers are very kind and supportive. The dance choreography and costumes are age-appropriate. The studio offers recreational dance as well as competition dance, drill team prep, etc. They have a Nutcracker production every year as well as an end of year recital.
