Our team will drill a new shallow well on your property and make your irrigation water bill disappear. Most shallow well pumps are installed in the service area near an air conditioner. We recommend that a dedicated power supply for the shallow well pump be installed to an exterior wall near the pump.

Jim McClain, in collaboration with video producer Eddie Rahx, has embarked on an ambitious look into the everything wells. This new documentary will be released in chapters on our social media as it is made. Jim McClain arrived in Savannah in1978 after graduating from University of Washington with a degree in Zoology. His career began at the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography where he worked as a Research Coordinator in a marine research lab.
Some of his research was a cooperative program with the Instituto de Oceanographia in Spain, developing a scientific research project, studying bivalve aquaculture with partners from Woods Hole, Scripps, and The University of Georgia.His respect for the environment and protection of our natural resources led Jim into his field and allowed him to expand his awareness beyond just regional issues.

If you need a well and somebody who really knows what they're doing around here these are the people to talk to! Jim was very knowledgeable about water sources and the coastal region and drilling I would not recommend any other well-service provider they did an excellent job on numerous wells for me and I will continue to use them in the future!Highly recommend these guys!!

I have used McClain's shallow wells for over 15 years to drill the initial well and then provide well service. One pump was burned due to a lightning strike and then about six months ago the sprinkler system was "pulsing" the spray. The McClain team pulled the pump, checked it on the bench and confirmed good performance but a failed check valve. Replaced the check valve and reinstalled the pump with the same pulsing problem. Added a "screen" to the system and has worked great. Excellent troubleshooting and repair - not just replacement. Drilling is an art and they know there business!!!

As always, there are two side to every story.In spite of my advice, Mr Cummins chose to wait until after his landscaping was completed to drill a second well, in order to find a higher quality water source. His excessive expectations on job site preparation were unreasonable, as I can not drill a well on recently laid sod without some disturbance. Plants were moved to accommodate Mr Cummins by the landscaper. We also were required to drive on plywood to the drilling site which I also accommodated. After two days on the site and hours of drilling around protected plants, my rig left several drops
