Stayed here in April 2021. Room was very clean, comfy bed, coffee maker, that's all I need. I think you can get free coffee at store next door but don't quote me. That's where the office is. Quiet, even with an occasional train rumbling through town. A few places to eat close by, but then, it's Caliente, so everything is close by.

The room was very clean, fresh smelling, and inviting. The bed seemed new because it was very comfortable. I was very surprised! Not that I was expecting anything thing bad , but I have recently paid more for a hotel room and was way less impressed. The staff at the desk was warm and inviting. Gave us dining tips for the area and we were not displeased. Actually every place we went in Caliente had a super friendly atmosphere. We are planning a return trip in June and will use shady motel as our base again
