Services
Leucadia Glass can supply all of your residential glass needs. We offer shower enclosures, mirrors, safety glass, beveled glass, tempered, laminated, tinted, dual glazed units, wire glass and over 50 different types of obscure glass. We cut up to 1/4 thick glass on a same day or next day basis. Some of the least common obscure glass may not be available as quickly.
Leucadia Glass provides material and installation of hinged frameless shower doors, inline enclosures, 90 degree & neo-angle enclosures, and by-pass enclosures, in several standard sizes or for custom units. Additionally, we provide clear glass, rain or reeded glass at no extra charge for our by-pass units.
We provide mirror wardrobe doors from WBS, Wardrobe & Bath Specialties, Inc. They are available in chrome, brushed nickel, oil rubbed bronze, white and gold finishes. They are available in medium or heavy weight, with or without a bevel, framed and frameless. We have standard as well as custom sizes and double and triple tracks.
The personnel at Leucadia Glass have helped me so many times with screen repairs, etc., and my clients too. I have referred them and have put them in my service directory. The wall of mirror installation in our home, done by Leucadia Glass, was a very satisfactory experience. It was gratifying to deal with people of integrity.

Super responsive, super helpful, made a super-hero repair to a very, very old dilapidated aluminum window at a very reasonable expense. They ended up charging me less than what was quoted, which was way less than what I expected and made a clever long-term repair. No one else wanted to even go out and look at it. They were out same day and did a great job. As a property manager who works with a lot of vendors, this company is at the top of my list!

Spencer rocks! My friend had been in a short term rental and noticed a crack in the mirrored closet door. She didn't remember seeing it when she moved in, so we decided to fix it. We talked to Home Depot. They suggested a $1000+ replacement. We called Leucadia Glass & Spencer told us it would be $430 +/- to replace the glass in the door. We brought the door down and within seconds Spencer said the crack was "years old". He could tell because of the delamination & a few other technical terms. Bottom line, my friend wasn't responsible. Spencer went as far as calling

We were at a Valero gas station on encinitas getting gas with an RV and a young man pulled up with a passanger in your company truck. They got gas and refused to move saying they didn't have room to move. He had more than enough room to pull forward or backwards. He was extremely rude cussing at us. The store worker or owner came out and helped him move his truck so we could move the RV. The store worker came out and apologized and said he was so sorry he wish he would of know he would of came out sooner and had him move his truck..

Our family has made an effort to use the services of our local, family owned, Mom and Pop type businesses. So we called Leucadia Glass to service and tighten the hinges on our master shower door. Unfortunately, our experience with Leucadia Glass for this small task has been an extremely difficult and unpleasant experience. The lack of professionalism and customer service will surely leave a bad taste in your mouth.
The service technician informed us they could not tighten the hinges (which have been done in the past) and we would need new hinges, which they didn't make any longer. Therefore, we

I called and asked some absolutely basic questions, and the lady who answered was rude for no reason.
Maybe they do great work, but get someone who can handle basic phone interactions.
If you look at their Yelp reviews, every fifth review is someone repeating this exact experience, at every level of service.

Not good! Having guests arriving tomorrow, I needed 1 window screen re-screened. Arriving when they opened at 8:30 I asked if they could re-screen it that day. The nice man said it wouldn't be ready till Tuesday. I saw at least 8 men loading trucks outside, and asked the nice man if they couldn't do it now. Nice man (without much customer awareness) said couldn't get it till Tuesday. I should have offered a $10 for tip for anyone who could do it, but left in frustration. Now I've spent over an hour trying to find someone to fix my 1 screen!!! Not a happy camper when I know it could have been fixed

My master bathroom was recently remodeled. I was looking for quotes on a shower door. I called on a Thursday. The person on the phone said nobody could come quote for a week. In my head I thought, "no biggie." I said to the man on the phone, "I'm all set if you can't come out for a week." Here's why Leucadia got 2 stars. The employee replies, "Most people find our work worth waiting for" (in a snarky tone).
I'm ok if you're busy. I'm ok if you don't want to quote my job. I'm NOT ok with getting attitude.

I've been doing business with Leucadia Glass for over 35 years. From owning my own construction business for 24 years, to working with 3 major home builders in North County. Leucadia Glass has provided excellent customer service, and great products ranging from picture frame glass, to whole house glass installations. While working for a major home developer, we had about thirty shower enclosures the sub contractor installed incorrectly. Leucadia Glass was the only local glass company willing to step up, and not only do the repairs, but guarantee we would never have the leakage problems that we

Spent good money on shower glass install with these folks and they used 3" screws on the job penetrating through all layers of protective coating for the shower which months later had caused water to leak down into the wood superstructure destroying the shower.
Everyone makes mistakes, but it's the way they handled the situation once it happened that really shocked me. Instead of trying to work with my tile installer (who was aiming to please the entire time) and GC (also very easy to work with) to resolve the issue amicably they played games and attempted to get out of taking responsibility
