As a Dermatology PA, Sheree is experienced in skin cancer prevention and treatment, as well as cosmetic procedures. She is skilled in simple excisions of cancers and other lesions and the diagnosis and treatment of abnormalities of the skin, hair, and nails. She is a thorough and conscientious provider who gives her patients the attention and care they deserve.
Skin cancer will affect 1 in 5 Americans. For those living at high altitudes who maintain outdoor lifestyles, the risk of skin cancer is higher. But a thorough examination of your skin can lead to early detection of precancerous lesions and skin cancer. With early detection and proper treatment, the cure rate for the most common forms of skin cancer is about 95 percent.
Myths about acne are almost as common as the skin problem. One common myth says that acne must run its course. However, this may not be the best approach, because acne can cause dark spots and permanent scars on the skin. Acne is treatable, including with topical and oral medications. These medicines target the multiple causes of acne - including plugged pores, acne-causing bacteria on the skin, inflammation, and unstable hormones.
As we age, our skin changes in many ways. New spots appear, and the skin becomes more fragile. Skin disorders can become very common among older people, and more than 90% of the elderly have some type of skin disorder. With increasing age, the skin produces less oil, making dryness and irritation more common, especially in our climate.

I needed an annual check up, plus I had a growth on the side of my head that I wanted gone, so I called to see if I could get an appointment while I was pet sitting for three weeks in Salida. I had been to another dermatologist in Maine for the same thing last summer. They froze the growth off but it quickly grew back again. Normally I don't write reviews, but if I can save one person a bad experience then it's worth it. Wish I would have done my homework before losing nearly $300. The owner is not a doctor, not sure how she can practice without a license or under a MD. She did not appear genuinely interested in me as an individual, and the whole office visit felt very superficial. More importantly, the botox treatment did nearly nothing to address the issue discussed at my consultation. After the appointment I kept waiting to see results, with little actual change regarding the lines in my forehead

We spend summers in Salida and my husband developed a painful, infected cyst on his back. We called and they worked us in the next day. Sheree, with a skilled hand and a gentle touch, anesthetized, lanced, and drained the cyst. My husband felt so much better! We came back three days later for a wound check and all was good. The office staff was friendly and professional. We’re very happy with our experience with Salida Dermatology!

I had Botox there with Sheree. It didn't work. Unfortunately, we live in an RV and were just passing through. I found myself back in Salida almost three months later and set up a consult so she could fix it. She said it doesn't last more than three months, and maybe I developed antibodies and I should have sent her a picture. She was not willing to make good so basically I threw $250 in the garbage.

Dr Beddingfield is incredibly thorough and took the time to answer all my questions. I have never had a dermatologist photograph my skin to refer to it in the future and monitor changes - very impressed. Dr. Beddingfield also took the time to explain preventative measures and good practices to implement with my children. Over all, a wonderful experience.

I have tried several of the Salida Dematology skin products. I am a big believer in the Polishing Gentle Face Scrub! Unlike many other scrub products on the market, this product has very fine scrubbing particles which are made from Jojoba beads. These are biodegradable unlike other products which have plastic beads that get into our water system. I keep mine in the shower and twice weekly apply this scrub to my face, neck and upper chest. It keeps my skin bright and is very gentle--it never reddens my face.

Salida Dermatology Vitamin C Serum Review. This is one of my favorite products. After a lifetime regimen of soap and water cleansing plus a little moisturizer, my skin tone was dull and uneven with plenty of fine lines and wrinkles. After 3 months of use my skin is brighter and firmer. The fine lines under my eyes are becoming softer. I am thrilled with the improvement!
