Founded in 1953, Unity has been transforming lives for more than 64 years. With alumni totaling more that 11,000+, our reach extends across West Michigan, the United States, and around the globe. Christian day school education is essential for teaching our children to know God, to enjoy Him, and to develop as followers of Jesus to be leaders for Him.
A private, community-based high school of 615 students with its own constitution and Board of Trustees. Our philosophy is based on the Reformed and always reforming perspective of Christianity. Students are drawn from an area of approximately 300 square miles, including the population centers of Allendale, Hudsonville, and Jenison from the eastern half of Ottawa County, Michigan.

Services
Unity Christian is a place where every student is recognized as God's own child with a specific plan for their life. The Christian faith and educational excellence that goes hand in hand makes Unity a unique high school. It is carried out by providing "Bible and faith based instruction, standards focused curriculum and co-curricular programs.".
The mission of Unity, to glorify God through faith excellence and service, is achieved through our Christ-centered education. Each day teachers and students work together to increase one another's faith, grow in knowledge, and seek to praise God. In addition to classroom instruction, students and staff come together for daily chapel-15 minutes of all-school prayer, devotions and singing.
Coming together for chapel is one of Unity's distinctive practices. While Christ is the focus of our curricula, it is important to come together and share our praise and worship as a body of believers. God tells us to gather as a corporate body of believers. We have such a privilege and opportunity to freely gather with other believers worshiping the one and only true God.
Throughout the year, we come across different positions and opportunities that need to be filled here at Unity Christian. Revive is a non-profit resale store selling clothing, furniture, home goods, sporting goods, children's items, and more. Revive is sponsored by Unity Christian High School for the benefit of all the Eastern Ottawa Christian Schools (EOCS). Revive has disbursed $1.8 MILLION in tuition reduction since opening in 2010.
