With 30 years in the construction business, there are many surprises that can be predicted and planned upfront, instead of last minute changes.
A deck or porch gives you a space to enjoy the outdoors, entertain guests or just relax. Over the years we have designed and built hundreds of decks and porches. We are now seeing that their construction is 50% of projects we complete. Whether you are building new or rebuilding an old porch or deck, there are a lot of decisions to be made for the project.
John and his team at Creative Remodelling did a fantastic job constructing a fully insulated 3 season sunroom to enclose our existing deck which had a hot tub and a swim spa. This was a challenging project enclosing about 600 sq feet of the deck. John's team persevered through the wettest July on record and completed the project in mid-August.
Many home owners have a private septic system and protecting your system from too much debris clogging them is important. Solutions exist to add septic filters and screens but they can be a chore to clean. A more convenient, and less costly option, is to use my custom screen drain solution. Very upset with this company. We had a meeting set up to where my husband took time off of work to meet with John. John never showed up. We called/emailed him and no response.. we understand things happen in life, but it seems like we have been blown off since we still have yet to have gotten a response on why we were left hanging. It’s very unfortunate.

Last year John Parent and crew remodeled my mother-in-law's bathroom to accommodate her special needs when she returned home from hospital/rehab after a bad car accident. He provided professional service with exceptional attention to detail and handled every aspect of the bathroom renovation, including the unexpected water damage from the previous homeowner's bad installation of vinyl siding. John was able to meet our deadline despite the additional work of replacing the rotten outside wall! Thank you, John and crew!!
