Family owned and clearly investing in updates. We stayed for a quick night on our way east, off I-40, after a tornado warning delayed our trip home. I’d called an hour ahead knowing they may close after dark. A nice couple, clearly the owners, met with us. Fairly certain they stayed open ‘late’ because they knew we were coming. They were incredibly gracious. Not sure what the reviewer who said ‘no gravel sites’ meant, we stayed on one… also met some nice people who said they’ve been posted up here for over 4 months. While we did only stay one night, I’m also unclear on what past

The campground is clean and pretty but no gravel or concrete pad(gets Very muddy). Now the owners/management, Stanley and Doris were the rudest host I have Ever camped at. Always trying to tell you that you can’t do something. They need to learn what Southern Hospitality is. They Lack ALL of it. I felt watched 24/7 by Doris and Stanley. Get a Life. I have never in 10 years of camping had problems with the staff. Don’t waste your hard earned money to be treated Nasty. I rate it a #1 out of 5 stars.

Pretty nice campground but the owners are very rude which makes the stay stressful especially with a family. The water hookup was very low pressure. There was no grace for Being caught in traffic in needing to leave 1:10 minutes late however that was only one reason for my review there were plenty of other things about the visit that was stressful because of the owners crazy rules and being unprofessionally rude!

This is the place you will want to bring family. The security is so we'll checked and cameras that alert to any unwanted campers or guests. These owners are as honest and as hardworking a family as can be. This should be a must for family adventure and community as well as safety and peace of mind. I love it here!!!

Do not visit this campground. They're too worried about charging visitors to stop by than keep the campground nice. They charge every visitors to park and to even be on the campground. Not a family environment at all. Owners are rude and not forthcoming with fees. It seems like they make up fee's off the top of their head when it's convenient for them. Websites and ligature provided say visitors welcome but thats not the case. We will never visit here again.

We spent about two months at ballyhoo, while we found a place to live in Crossville. We loved our stay there! It’s so peaceful and beautiful. The owners keep the campground in excellent condition, as well as the facilities. We happen to be there over memorial day weekend, so it was full. They had a barbecue, with lots of food. That gave us an opportunity to meet more of the other residents, and we were able to talk with and enjoy each other‘s company, even though it rained. We recommend it highly.
