Clites Architects, PC is a full service architecture firm located in historic Middleburg, Virginia. Our primary focus is residential architecture. We approach architecture as an intense collaboration with our clients; whom are the source of our design inspiration. Located near Upperville, VA, this property was built in the 1960's and was in need of updating. We added a new kitchen, mudroom, breakfast room, family room, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Designed for daily living for two, the home opens up easily when family or guests arrive. In addition to the main house, we designed a two bay garage with storage and a upper level apartment.
The owners purchased a house with a two story space that lacked detail, interest, and function. We removed the poor details and added a floor, creating a comfortable family room and a new office on the second floor. Both the family room and office received custom detailed cabinetry, moldings, wainscots, and lighting.

In the process of buying an old house, I asked Tim to come out for a consultation. He was incredible! Not only did he offer incredible advice, he also went above and beyond to connect me with others who could help me in the purchase process.
