In 2001, David Hulett, along with two other business partners, purchased the land and storage buildings that Hilltop now inhabits from businessman Bob Hess. Their goal in creating Hilltop Marine was to provide Lake Cumberland and the surrounding area with a premier dealership that specialized in both selling and servicing boats.

Not sure how to express our thanks. Hilltop rebuilt our pontoon as a result of a major warranty issue with the anodized aluminum. With Hilltop's support the manufacturer accepted responbility. Hilltop did a PERFECT job of fixing the boat. This was not an easy job. Many hours of work. It was done perfectly. A lot of dealership support here. Just what you want when you buy a boat
