Though I do appreciate Starved Rock Harley Davidson helping me with some repairs on my 2006 Softail Deluxe, I am surprised at the quality of work performed by one of their master technicians. What would seem like a simple procedure.... to mount and balance tires has left me somewhat confused. When mounting the new "engraved whitewall" tire on the front wheel, the technician failed to remove the existing spoke weights before proceeding to balance the wheel. To balance the wheel, a total of 12 stick on .5 oz. weights were applied to the front wheel. The bike has HD Chrome 80 spoke wheels

Went in there the first week of June on my way back from a bike trip. Im currently looking for a new street glide special and looking to trade mine in so i figured id give it a look. It was small compared to the other dealers which is no big deal but literally i walked the whole store and all i got was, " hey". Like I'm some teenager. And by all means i I'm twice that age lol. Poor customer service, mentality around there i got was if they want to buy a bike they will get me.

I had a great experience buying my first Harley from Starved Rock Harley Davidson. My salesman Jim was very professional and nice. I never felt pressured and he was able to get the price of my bike down to where I wanted. After all the haggling, he still gave me a $250 Harley gift card for buying the bike. The store is smaller than other dealerships, but they can special order anything the bigger dealerships offer. The merchandise sales staff are some of the nicest ladies I've ever dealt with in retail. They are very helpful and do what they can to make you happy.
