Ted's is a WONDERFUL gem in Keene,NH! The young people working there take the time to talk to you to find out what you really need, the service is great! At Christmas time they are very kind and will even wrap your gift!! Ted's also is incredibly supportive of local fundraising! Love Ted's

Passing through town and stopped by to pick up some running nutrition - Ted was there to greet us and was very friendly and helpful! All staff at the store were also very nice. Nice to see a local business thriving and owner enjoying work so much.

I used to love to run, but a few years ago I started getting really painful shin splints. I stopped running since I was unsure on what kind of shoe to wear. I walked into Teds a few weeks ago and spoke with Jennifer. She completely opened my eyes behind the science of shoes and was very knowledgable as to why I was feeling pain. She went above and beyond in making sure I would find the right shoe and sure enough she did! I've gone running multiple times now and have felt zero pain! Thank you!! :)

I've heard how great Ted's was for years from friends. I can't believe it took me this long to get down there. I had a wonderful experience. They talked with me about my foot history. What I was experiencing with my feet and the activities I was planning on doing. Ted came out with a sneaker that was exactly what I was looking for and he stretched it out in places I needed it to make my feet more comfortable. I highly recommend anyone who cares about their feet or is experiencing some discomfort to stop by and see if they can help you. For me, it was worth the trip.

The training Ted gives to his employees is extraordinary.-- 200 hours of training before letting someone serve his customers. That's unheard of anywhere but at this shoe store. This past weekend,we were very well taken care of by Jenna.
We found the store by accident when taking our child to summer camp 4 summers ago, and every year since we have looked forward to replacing and buying new sneakers when passed through Keene on the way to camp.

Pretty rare to find a shoe store that gives you personal attention including measuring your feet to get the best fit. Four stars only because the selection is limited although high quality brands. I recommend giving Ted's a try!

I have nothing but rave reviews for Ted's. Ted helped me find the right pair of sneakers. I have a small foot and he made me some shims. Along with them and my Ted's inserts, I have been pounding the pavement by walking a lot more. Recently, I got holes in my interior heel soft material area due to increased mileage and from the friction my heels rubbing against the socks and sneakers. He has a solution to that and I will be making the trip over for getting some adhesive felt put in them. I always learn something new. Kudos to Ted and the entire staff. Ted’s has very loyal customers in my and my family. I took my mother there yesterday in search of some new comfortable shoes to help with her neuropathy. She has a very hard time finding shoes that are comfortable, and her nerve endings cause her to not be able to wear socks at all. Not only did we have personal attention (as usual), but Ted himself stepped in toward the end and really sat down and talked with my mom about her issues. I had a very very knowledgeable, helpful and cheery staff member who really taught me so much about my shoe and foot needs. Her name is Josie, - ask for her if you wish, - she was great!! What a good store, good products too.. upper end footwear, so pricey, but when you have special foot needs - This is the place!

Very knowledgeable staff and exceptional service. I went in to get some inserts for my boots and Ted took the time to discuss the issues I was having and try several products until we got the right fit. There is a night and day difference in how comfortable my shoes are now.

I've gotta say..I knew Ted was an expert shoe fitter, but I didn't realize the extent. While I did grow up in NH, the Monadnock region, I've since moved to WA state, and occasionally will still purchase things from Ted's from time to time. In my...middle age (is 39 middle aged yet?)...I've developed a spine condition which is pretty gnarly and I need REALLY good footwear otherwise I'm a mess. This is, by far, my favorite store for shoes and running supplies. I started running and my ankle was always hurting. My sister recommended this store to see what type of shoe I should be using for running. I went in and they asked me to simply walk down the aisle. Immediately they could tell that I had flat feet and gave me shoes that would help me run and eliminate the pain. I was a little doubtful at first but it worked! Now, when I need shoes, I travel to my sisters to go back to this store. I also found that they have balega socks (if you run and haven't tried these, they are a must)

Excellent, no-nonsense, non-patronizing, quick service. Great selection of running shoes. Greg (I think?) got me the perfect shoe for my needs and my budget. Was honest and friendly and humble. Frankly I'm not used to being treated so well by a young man in a sports store as a non-jock woman. Pile of toys in the corner for my kiddo was excellent, but the shoe in the bubbling fish tank held kid's attention even more. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an excellent shoe. Not cheap but I didn't come for a discount, I came for quality and respect. Done and done.

A while ago Ted's advertised that they can order any shoe they want for you and they keep track of it. Fantastic! I'm picky and I knew exactly what I wanted, so I went a couple times and ordered my favorite shoes. This was great until the last time. I went in and talked to Mark, gave him my name and he said, no problem. I got the call, went in, never had a problem before, so I took them home without really looking at them (my fault). They were wrong. I looked up the part number online and brought them back, with the correct part number. A week later, okay they're in again. I look

I give very few places 5 stars. I'm not picky, but to get 5 stars from me a place REALLY has to go above & beyond & not need ANY improvements. Ted's is one of those places!

My physical therapist recommended this place to me. I was professionally fitted for running shoes here. This seems to be a dying art (the only other place I know that does this just as well is Alec's in Downtown Nashua) but they know their stuff at Ted's & I couldn't be happier. The gentleman who helped me was helpful, professional, fast, & friendly. I will be back!

What kind of store doesn't put price tags on their shoes??!! Went in there yesterday to look for a pair of sneakers and discovered that they don't put price tags on their shoes...walked out as soon as we saw this!!!!

There should be s six star option for Ted's.

They are incredibly knowledgeable and will fit you with the correct shoe. They won't sell you crap you don't need or try to push something trendy on you.

I went in recently the day before I left for a walking-intensive trip and my New Balance 993s were very suddenly causing problems. I was fully prepared to buy a new pair of shoes and/or orthotics, but they simply tweaked the fit of my orthotics (which were close to a year old) by reheating and trimming and sorted me out without charging me a penny.
