Since becoming an orthodontist in 2002, one of the things I am still truly amazed by is when we make people look better, we actually improve their oral, as well as overall bodily health! Many people think that braces are strictly cosmetic. Nothing could be further from the truth. As we are creating a person's beautiful smile, we are also not only raising their self-esteem, but making them healthier.

The benefits I experienced following orthodontic treatment as a youngster have gone far beyond just straighter teeth. I now have the same opportunity to see those changes in the patients I care for. Since 2005, I have been an orthodontist in private practice. Prior to that, I served our country in the United States Navy for a total of 18 years as a dental assistant, a general dentist, and then as an orthodontist.

From the moment you enter the front door and Ms Joye greets you with a smile, to the moment when Dr. Todd or Dr. Shawn talks with you....you're treated great!!
The atmophere of service is professional, friendly, warm and caring..which is very rare in ANY business these days, let alone a doctors office.
My 12 year old daughter has been a patient since Sept. of 2009, and has not "complained" once about having to go!!...which is VERY unsual...because she has "the white coat/ doctors phobia" !! :-)
