Many don't understand that Opiate Addiction is a chronic disease and not a lack of will power, a moral failure, or the result of bad choices. Like other chronic diseases such as diabetes or heart disease, Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) can be treated.

Physicians, Counselors; Nurses & Pharmacists who understand the process of recovery, combine to provide the most effective treatment possible, and do so in a caring and nurturing manner.
For dependence on short-acting opioids, like heroin or prescription painkillers, Suboxone, which contains buprenorphine and naloxone, may be recommended to help you begin (induction phase) and maintain continuity (maintenance phase) of treatment. Induction: You begin your treatment (or restart it if you've relapsed) under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
