Meat Machine Cycles provides new, properly adjusted rental bicycles and personalized service to every customer. Our goal is ensure you enjoy your bicycle ride and get to see our beautiful islands the way we do everyday. Reservations: If you are coming during the peak season of May - August it is a good idea to make a reservation.
Meat Machine Cycles started offering tours so that we could better show our clients the beauty of our home. We believe that pointing out a place on a map is not the best way of connecting people with nature. All of our tours are supported with a professional guide riding along side you, and an on-call support vehicle should at any time you need to adjust the duration of your tour.

I usually don’t write reviews but Meat Machine went above and beyond. I came in during a bike packing tour needing a new chain, and they helped me right away at a reasonable price. While I was there I saw their bike tour/ bike rental van pull in - all new, top of the line bikes. Whether you are looking for a quick repair or bike rental or bike tour on San Juan Island, Meat Machine in Friday Harbor is your place.

Awesome bike shop with great bikes and great people!! The staff at Meat Machine did an excellent job in sizing us into Carbon Cannondale Road Bikes that we used to explore Friday Harbor. The pickup and the drop-off of the rental bikes was seamless and easy which maximized our time on the bike. The staff was super friendly and helpful and gave us great recommendations about where we should ride based on our riding experience.
Also, Meat Machine is near many great restaurants and bars which makes grabbing food and drinks after the ride very easy!!

We (1 racing cyclist and 1 recreational cyclist) rented 2 Awesome Road bikes for three days. Staff gave us excellent tips for where to ride for beautiful scenery and empty beaches on San Juan and Lopez. Super friendly staff, and very accommodating when our plans changed slightly. A couple blocks away from ferry dock. Light weight and well maintained road bikes. They also rent e-bikes if you need extra energy on hills, and hybrid bikes. We have already recommended Meat Machines to our friends in Seattle for when they visit the San Juan Islands.
