M.R. Electricians was founded in 1996 in Rockville, Maryland by brothers Mark and Rob Dols. It was their desire to provide a full spectrum of quality electrical services to the then-underserved residential and commercial marketplace in the area. At the time, it seemed fewer and fewer electricians brought quality and professionalism to the job.
In forming M.R. Electricians, the Dols brothers sought to create an environment of unrivaled professionalism and to build an exceptionally well-trained, service-oriented team of technicians. In 1997, Mark's wife, Victoria, joined the company and together they continue to operate the business today.

I have been using MR Electricians for over 15 years on construction projects, and for all our Fire Alarm work. The electricians are knowledgeable and professional and clean up after themselves. Jermaine and Lenny are the best. They did a great job troubleshooting an issue 2 previous electricians could not figure out. They did the work, were very friendly and professional. They vacuumed the area where they did the work and left the area spotless. Would highly recommend them. M R Electricians is lucky to have as employees. 😊.

We have used MR Electricians for various projects in my dads house in Rockville. The office staff is I courteous & books appointments in timely fashion. The electricians are efficient, honest and trustworthy. They communicate about their work, your needs & make excellent suggestions with respect to projects you need to monitor or keep an eye on, for example, we have 2 homes that are 50 years or older & the electric codes & wirings have to be updated for safety.

Great and honest company. Came out right away for a problem we had at the restaurant we run. They took care of multiple problems we had at a fair and reasonable price. Ben was the gentleman who worked on our issues and we also had them come out to our home for a small problem we had. And once again, Ben did a great job. Will definitely recommend based on their professional work and prompt service.

They have a driver who is so reckless on the road that he should not even have a license. I will be telling everyone to NEVER do business with this company due to their obvious lack of judgement with who they allow to drive their company vehicles. I called the company and reported the driver but I doubt I'll receive a call back as the phone seems to go straight to the machine even when you call during business hours. This driver was going over 80mph in a 40mph zone, cut meoff twice and proceeded to slam on his breaks both times he did, and once again just for fun I guess. I have no idea what prompted

I used them due to great word of mouth. They took a week to return my call due to some phone problem they were having. Only after a mutual friend pinged them did they return my call. When they did arrive, they replaced a hanging light fixture, two ceiling fans, added an outlet in my garage, and dismantled my two outdoor lights to determine it was the light fixtures that were bad and no electrical problem (they left them down and I installed new ones later myself). That set me back about $620 for less than 3 hours of labor and maybe $30 of materials. Needless to say I was floored by that cost
