Founded in 1962, The North Dakota Ballet Company, the official ballet company of the state of North Dakota, is a non-profit dance organization committed to promoting classical ballet and other dance styles in Grand Forks and the surrounding areas.
The organization evolved as a professional performance company and has hence become a strong school and artisitic programming outlet for the Grand forks community for the past 60 years. Through our programming we focus on training children-adults on the artistry of dance, movement, musicality, as well as self confidence and character development.

Services
North Dakota Ballet Company is proud to offer dance classes for all ages and ability levels in a variety of styles. Learn more about the programs we offer below or by going to our Fall Classes page. Dance, spin, and twirl to the music as your child begins to explore introductory movement and music skills in this fun exploratory class.
NDBC offers adult programming available for all levels ages 16+. Whether you have never taken a class or looking to get back into training, we have a variety of class options for you. These classes are designed with the busy person in mind, as each class session is anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks long, so they fit into anybody's busy schedule.
Our Children's Dance program is designed to build a love of dance through music, imagination, exploration, and movement in dancers aged 3 - 10. Dancers will improve their motor skills and coordination while developing confidence and leadership skills. Dancers participate in a weekly technique class and an end of year recital.
Over the summer North Dakota Ballet Company provides classes for dancers aged 3 - adult in a wide range of styles including ballet, modern, tap, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater, and jazz. Dancers will have the opportunity to hone their skills and experience a variety of fun and unique classes.
Due to the generosity of the Myra Foundation we are proud to offer a virtual learning platform for teachers, parents, and community members to access onlines classes, resources, and dance programming options to bring the art of dance into their classrooms and homes to inspire students of all ages to take part in the artistry of movement and creativity.
