Services
The company began in 1976 when Ron Cowley purchased the business from Bergstrom Tire Co. As an independent Firestone dealer, the company sold automotive tires and truck tires and had an on-the-farm service truck. The station also sold gas, first under the Shell Gas logo and then as a Union 76 station until the gas pumps were taken out in 1983.

The woman who answers the phone is very rude, her attitude and the way she talks to you is extremely unprofessional. I've used them in the past with a different vehicle and had my concerns but I won't be going to them anymore. I recently called and wanted 2 cheap tires for an older Honda civic. She quoted me 300 to mount and balance for 2 tires which is absurdly expensive. She claimed that was the cheapest for tires she could find which is wrong because I went online afterwards and found tires for 65 each. They try and upcharge you way to much for what you want. The staff at River Falls Tire always show great courtesy, but more importantly, have always done good work on all our vehicles. If there is no problem with our cars when checked they haven't charged us. They have never come up with fake repairs to make more money. We have always found them to be honest and hard working! Second time they bailed me out of car trouble issues, they've done a break job & full battery diagnostics, both times my vehicle was ready as promised, the bill was as quoted and the front desk person was pleasant & helpful...next time my vehicle needs work, I'll schedule with them and I do suggest scheduling at least 1-2 days in advance when possible as they're not open weekends and there's limited area garages in a college town & the county.

I am a college student and have brought my car here multiple times for an electrical problem no one could figure out. This place was so awesome and had my car fixed quickly and was very affordable. They didn’t stop until the issue was fixed and even called back to make sure it was still running good. Will definitely use this place if I have anymore issues!

This place is fantastic! We recently moved to the area and asked for recommendations for a place to have our Honda Pilot repaired. A friend recommended River Falls Tire Co. so we took a chance. This is now "our car place" and we won't take our vehicles elsewhere! They are honest, professional and fast. They know what they are doing and don't take advantage of you. I highly recommend them!

Can I get a three cheers for honest mechanics?!
They replaced my brakes in the autumn, and a few months later, my ABS lights started going on and off. I ignored this. Eventually, the lights went on and stayed. Still, I ignored this. Eventually, hubby got annoyed and took the van in for me (don't judge me). I am not a car person, but ultimately it was some damaged wires in a part that would cost $400 to fix. Ouch, ok.
Except...not ouch, because apparently the damage was their fault from something being misaligned when they did my breaks, so they fixed it for free.
They recognized and admitted

Very reasonable prices- My oil changes usually cost $25.00 total.
As a student who has class all day, I can't drive my car there in the middle of the day- but they are very flexible with dropping off the car. I usually drop mine off the evening before my oil change the next morning, and pick it up after class- SO convenient.
The staff is very friendly and nice- I've never gotten repairs done here, but the services I've had done have all been great.

The owner (I believe), John, is always honest about what your vehicle needs and the charges are reasonable. When my mother's flood-damaged vehicle kept needing more and more work because the damage was systemic and hard to identify, he knocked off the cost of labor for the unexpected additional work. I take my car there exclusively for mechanical issues. Highly recommended. FYI, they're often very busy on Fridays.
