Lucky was very rude and unhelpful. I was recommended by Just Tires to go over and ask a question about my AC. It was not blowing air out the vents, but sounded like the blower was running while the car was off. Was unsure if it would drain my battery. I told him my problem and he said that he was too busy to service it today. I asked if he could just listen to sound in my car, parked 15 feet away from where we were standing in the garage, to recommend if it was something that needed to be addressed immediately. He told me again he was too busy. I asked one more time, ensuring him I just needed

I love the service here at Dyrness Automotive! I have always gone to the dealership to get my car serviced, but the fees were beginning to pile up. I heard about Dyrness from a close friend, and I thought what the heck! let me get an estimate and see what they will charge. Let me tell you Dyrness prices are very competitive, and I was very pleased with their rates. The oil change on my car took less then 30 minutes, and I am very pleased with the work they did. Thank you Dyrness I will definitely come back for future services on my car.

Under new management.
I've been a loyal customer to Dyrness but our last visit has me questioning their honesty.
Had them check the suspension on a Prius which was showing signs of wear and I was told it was "shot" and had to "get it all replaced." I'm not dumb in the toolbox but I also don't have a lift. Got two other opinions (other mechanic + Toyota) to find out the suspension is fine even though it's past Toyota's service date for suspension.
Not a fan of mechanics contributing to the bad reputation of mechanics.

I have had two bad experiences in a row here. I spoke with Fabian to get the oil changed in my car. When I brought the car home, oil was leaking everywhere. Apparently oil was spilled everywhere when removing the old filter and therefore it got all over the inside of the engine bay and the frame. I decided to give Fabian another chance after reading his positive reviews, so I brought my car for another oil change. This time the oil was changed without hiccup, except for the fact that the mechanic got OIL inside my car on the headboard and upholstery. Absolutely unacceptable. This was the final

They recently "repaired my Model A. I am pissed that the door was not fixed correctly, and that there is a big gash in the fender. I later found out from a locksmith that the prior restoration people broke the door handle lock and Dyrness couldn't have fixed without major work and time, so I am better off getting it done elsewhere since I have moved out of state. The gash in the fender was probably done by the guy who moved it on the flatbed.
Prior to that they were AWESOME! Take your car there for repairs!

The staff at Dyrness goes out of their way to thoroughly explain any issues on your car. You'll always see some classic cars around the shop and the technicians are very thorough.

Dyrness have consistently done a good job on my Volvo. In my opinion they are the most reliable Volvo shop in town, though they work on all makes and models of vehicles. With a shop like Dyrness, there is no need to take your vehicle to the dealer for service. They are all about quality work and great customer service.

This place is hidden behind a big tire shop in Glendale. I didn't think it'd be a good shop to have my car smog checked, but boy am I glad I gave them a try.
The staff was extremely pleasant, and accommodating. The price was inexpensive and competitive, and the turnaround was expeditious.
I will definitely be back for any other automotive needs. They service all varieties of cars, and seem to specialize in Volkswagens.

I own a 1992 Volvo wagon, and as reliable as it's been, on occasion it needs some work. Fabian and the guys at Dyrness have always done the job extremely well. All the guys know what they're doing and don't cut corners. They also don't upsell you or fleece you for things you don't need. I've had suspension work, oil changes, brake stuff and all sorts of fixes here and the guys know what they're doing. I've seen the negative reviews but those are all from when the business was under different ownership. If you're looking for your car and you to be well

I have two older cars - a '97 Jeep and an '87 Toyota. And I now take them to only one place: Dyrness on Central.
First off, the place is AMAZINGLY clean and squared away. I've rarely seen garages (even at dealerships) this clean and organized. They have a huge parts department and their staff is incredibly nice.
I know they're under new ownership. And I have since recommended these guys to two good friends -one who lives in Studio City and one who lives in the Wilshire area. They both now make

They may be ok for basic smog checks... but when it comes to full service, its HORRIBLE. I recently had them work on my car and after 2 days it went bad. WORSE than it was when it was brought it. I called back explaining the problem and jack treated me like a complete IDIOT. Not as someone who payed him a significant amount of money to have something fixed. Pretty much gave a the worst attitude i ever experienced . I believe you should treat your customer with respect, and not take it as a blow to your ego when someone comes back with a genuine concern over the quality of the work performed. Im

I was greeted promptly and taken care of. I went and ran some errands and got a call less than 30 minutes later letting me know that it was all finished and had passed.
