Castle Hill
Once you step onto the property at Castle Hill, you will step back into time, rich in Southern architecture and touches of fine details from decor to the scenery at Castle Hill. Modeled after D'Everoux Plantation in Natchez, Mississippi, Castle Hill began in 2001 as a bed and breakfast, named "Colonel's Quarters."

Shortly thereafter, the picturesque home became a highly sought after event venue, thus beginning the special events era and the new name "Castle Hill." Since then, more than 400 events have been hosted on site. In 2015, our Grand Ballroom was opened and offered the largest indoor event space in Oxford.

Did you know we have hosted more than 400 weddings, rehearsal dinners, and special events since 2003? We strive to provide a location where the most important people at your wedding can gather to kick-start the weekend.

My Husband and I had the pleasure of hosting our daughters reception at Castle Hill 3/30/2019. Behind the scenes preparing - Jean, Randy, and Emily were FANTASTIC. The food was Exquisite ! The presentation of the food was beautiful and perfectly displayed. I could not have asked for better people to work with. The rental fee was very budget friendly and had so many perks. We also stayed in two two of the most fantastic rooms for the weekend, again beautiful and budget friendly. Our experience could not have been any better, Thank you

We had the pleasure of playing at Castle Hill for The Watson Wedding on October 27, 2018. This gorgeous venue is an airy, two level space overflowing with sophisticated southern charm! The outdoor setting for ceremonies is perfectly intimate and the large covered patio was fabulous for cocktail hour. The staff were exceptional.

Stayed here for the LSU game and it was worth every penny. The entire place was spotless and clean as a whistle. The beds were comfortable and the showers were hot(Delta Room) The food was awesome and the hospitality was top notch. Cant wait to come back in the spring and watch LSU whip Ole Miss in baseball too.

I'm not one to post reviews, but after attending a wedding of a dear friend's daughter at Castle HIll and reading a previous negative review, I decided I would give my two cents worth.
This place is a gem! The property is absolutley breathtaking with the unmistakable southern atmosphere. Our overnight accomodations were perfect as was the breakfast. The owner, Jean, made us feel so at home and event coordinator, Tess was more than we deserved. On the day before the wedding, Tess allowed us to set up and do all of the "wedding stuff" we needed to do early. She was available to answer questions

The good, the bad, and then the truly ugly. My daughter's wedding was held at Castle Hill in April of this year (2016). The GOOD: The venue was amazing, the food was truly scrumptious. The BAD: the wedding coordinator is really the chef. The food is scrumptious, the wedding coordination is bad. ...And now the UGLY. During the wedding ceremony when all wedding guests were waiting for the ceremony to start, someone (not a wedding guest) helped themselves to the box where the checks and cash gifts were placed...Yes, you can not make it up...someone actually stole the checks and cash. The police were

This is a review for a wedding we just had there. First of all, beautiful place to have a wedding. Food was great as well.
Now for the bad. First thing I didn't like was we were supposed to have a coordinator there to tell us what to do. Wedding started at 6 and at 5:50 she was nowhere to be found. I had to tell the ushers to start seating people. Luckily we were only about a 75 person wedding or that would have been a disaster. I had to tell the dj and photographers when we were doing the dances and cutting the cake. Then the brides mother had to cut the cake when we ordered cake cutting. They

Perfect getaway spot! I wanted a pretty place to rest and relax and found the perfect place here. The grounds are breathtaking and the room is adorable. Comfortable bed and large living space. I love the gorgeous view from the porch swing. Staff is nice and the rooms are pretty and sound proof. They are adding a ball room so there is some construction but they brought my breakfast to the room since the dining area is a part of the remodel. I highly recommend Castle Hill for a getaway. I came alone but this is perfect for a romantic weekend for a couple.

Beautiful property and facilities. Guest house is not recommended. Specifically, Dixie Room is not recommended. Room is directly above owners living area. My husband and I were awakened to what sounded like furniture being moved at 5:00 a.m. followed by the owner's television (downstairs) around 6:00 a.m. No sleep! Was exhausted and had a difficult time enjoying my day because I was so exhausted due to no sleep! First time I have ever been to an establishment where soap, shampoo, etc., not provided. Make sure you bring soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, coffee cups, etc., These items were
