Greenland Landscape & Masonry was founded in the 1980's, an era of horticultural excellence, by Marta and Mike Garland. We started working in the Atlanta area renovating residential landscapes. Mike, who was already skilled in landscaping, learned to do brick and stone work by working with masons from England and Wisconson.
Marta had recently graduated from California State Polytechnical University with a landscape architecture degree. She moved to Atlanta in search of a Southern lifestyle, and to create luxuriant gardens. We continue to design and install beautiful residential and church gardens. Because we have projects that are decades old, we return to do natural pruning maintenance to keep our client's existing landscapes healthy.

I design and build gardens and landscapes in northeast Georgia, servicing Atlanta (northeast), Braselton, Brookhaven, Dacula, Hoschton, Lake Lanier, Northlake, Suwanee, and surrounding areas along the I-85 corridor. My goal is to create happiness between you and your property. Every project starts with a 3D design so you can see your project before it's built.
The front door was hidden by a stone wall. Guests had to use the narrow side steps at garage. To make a more inviting entrance we removed a section of the wall and added a generous staircase to the front door. Italian pottery flanks the steps. Project 2: Koi Pond: Homeowners had a professionally built koi pond.

We hired Marta and her Greenland Landscape and Masonry staff to redesign and update the shrubs and greenery around our home. From our very first meeting until completion Marta was kind, helpful, professional and insightful in her comments to us regarding what would be best for our project. She earned our confidence and respect because she is such a wonderful and talented professional landscaper, and I would recommend her, highly, to others who would like to have more beautiful and enjoyable yards and landscape features.
