Well, first of all let me just tell you that I went for a waxing "experience" years ago and it was terrifying...so it's taken a lot of courage for me to go back and try again. Marlin is great, she made me feel comfortable right from the start, she is both personable and professional at the same time. And she's great at the what she does, I only had a tiny bit of discomfort (to be expected) but no pain at all! And I love my results. Her private room was spotless, her rates are reasonable, look her up and give her a try, you won't be disappointed....

Marlin was the most wonderful esthetician! I’ve been to several European wax centers and other waxing bars but I’ve never had someone take care of me the way she did. She explained so much about my hair to further my understanding and made sure i was comfortable the entire time! I wish I lived in Santa Barbara full time so I could go to her year round! Marlin is the best! I got a Brazilian with her today and the wax came out so clean. She genuinely cares about the health of your skin and makes sure that the wax comes out just the way you want it. She takes her time to ensure the best wax possible and also makes you feel comfortable while you're getting waxed. I would highly recommend her over any other wax service.

Malin is HANDS DOWN the best waxer i've ever been to. On top of doing the best brazilian wax i've ever gotten, she is so warm, nice and answered all my questions. I also got the hydrojelly mask after and it has been a game changer in my post wax healing. She made me feel so comfortable, the wax was painless because of her technique and wax that she uses. I will always go to her as long as I live in Santa Barbara and honestly probably drive back to her if i ever move.

Not only is Marlin the absolute best esthetician I've ever had, she has gone above and beyond adhering to the new strict safety standards to stop the spread of COVID-19. She kept us well informed as she awaited permission from the SB Public Health Department/City/County to open. She greets you with hand sanitizer, you are the only client in her suite, each client signs a form confirming they don't have any symptoms, etc, both of us wear our masks the whole time, she sanitizes throughly between each client. I don't usually write reviews but Marlin is so outstanding! After plenty of European wax centers and lots of random waxer's over the years I've found my girl. She takes pride in what she does - you can tell by how flawless her work is and how clean and hygienic her space is. My sister in law referred me here and I'll never try another place. Marlin is the BEST waxer! She has been waxing me for years and now finally has her own (richly deserved) waxing studio. I have very sensitive skin and thick hair, but Marlin is so skilled that I barely feel a thing and the results last me a full month.
