Conestoga Ranch is the creation of five partners who share an admiration for Bear Lake. The partners were eager to acquaint more families with Garden City, Utah's natural beauty. Recognizing the growing popularity of "glamping" around the world, they came together to develop a luxury camping resort overlooking the vivid blue waters.
Soon, they set out to design a glamping destination where families, groups and couples could camp in complete comfort without having to sacrifice vacation time prepping for their outdoor vacation. Quickly dismissing the notion that camp food has to be synonymous with packaged meals, they declared the resort would offer gourmet cuisine.

Services
Ideal for romantic getaways, our plush lake view Grand Couple Tents feature a king size bed, en-suite bathroom, hot water, electricity, heat, safe for valuables, mini refrigerator, private campfire patio, dining table and other hand selected furnishings. Rustic elegance at its best. Sleeping up to 4, our cozy Traditional Tents are the perfect fit for a small family or group of friends.
A mashup of "glamorous" and "camping, " glamping is a world-wide phenomenon that combines the thrills of camping with the creature comforts of home. While the term glamping may only be a few years old, the concept has a venerable history. Centuries ago, Turkish Ottomans would set up extravagant tents-appointed with silk fabrics, expensive rugs, and furnishings-as mobile palaces for their sultan.
A Conestoga Ranch Gift Certificate is a great gift idea for birthdays, employee appreciation, and more. Certificates can be used towards dining lodging at Conestoga Ranch. Gift Certificates apply to lodging at Conestoga Ranch. If the lodging costs are less than the value of the gift certificate, the remaining amount will be applied to any room charges incurred.
Surrounding Bear Lake are beautiful mountain ranges and geological wonders. These rolling hills and towering mountains offer plenty of activities to enjoy including several caving adventures and plentiful fossilized history to uncover. Everyone in the family can enjoy the adventure and experience the thousands of years of geological history that Bear Lake has to offer.

Stayed one night of Labor Day weekend in one of the wagons. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, the heater worked great, and the power outlets were conveniently located. The bathrooms and showers have what you need: shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotions, and hair dryer. They have bikes, games, and ping pong paddles for checking out. There's a restaurant, little game room with air hockey and an arcade game, and campfires. Coffee and hot chocolate are free. Nice way to enjoy camping without all the dirt and smoke.

Another fun return trip to Conestoga Ranch in Garden City, UT. Staff are very friendly, tent accommodations are comfortable, common bath/shower rooms are very nice, and grounds are well kept. Lots of activities on site for the whole family to enjoy. The game tent, playground, sports fields, volleyball net, and corn hole are just some of the ways you can spend your time at the Ranch. Prices have increased DRAMATICALLY since we first stayed at Conestoga Ranch five years ago. That is disappointing but assuming it is because the family who originally owned it sold to a larger hospitality group. Bikes

We booked a single night stay here over Friday the beginning of Labor Day weekend 2021. We did it sort of on a whim.
What an incredible experience. It was magical and memorable to say the least. From the campfire grill to the first class hospitality and amenities.
The evening was brisk and the fireside s’mores and service followed by the in tent heater made for a relaxing sleep and the sunrise was majestic.
We strongly recommend this location to any serious glampers and want to try their grand family and covered wagon tents as we were in a round tent.
Well done Conestoga team you won us over

We stayed in 1 of the big tents with a bathroom in it. Everything was fabulous! The staff was amazing. Have us a golf cart ride to our tent with our luggage and took us back when we checked out.Everything is spotless. They Started our fires, greeted us with a s'mores kit upon check in and just couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Cute gift shop too. We ate at the Campground Grill restaurant and everything was delicious. Great experience all around for us

We had such an incredible stay! Our young kids were more happy at the ranch than at the lake! The staff was so friendly and always just a quick text away. I couldn’t believe how respectful the other guests were especially after quiet time. I do wish the bathrooms were cleaned more than once a day. But really, other than that, it was a perfect trip. We can’t wait to make this a tradition each summer.

We had a Fantastic time at Conestoga Ranch! The kids LOVED the wagons. We were greeted with smores kits and taken by golf cart to our wagon. The property is full of fun, free activities for the kids. Including a big variety of bikes for all ages to ride to town or around the property. The showers are clean. The on-site restaurant was in a beautiful tent with chandeliers and a beautiful fireplace. The property is conveniently located close to all that garden city has to offer.

Highly recommend Conestoga Ranch to anyone looking for a unique place to stay.
We rented a tent; it was spacious, clean, quiet, warm with the heater provide & beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our personal fire pit & complementary s’mores, star gazed, & got up to watch the sun rise over Bear Lake.
The bathrooms were clean, private, & roomy; showers were hot & shampoo, conditioner, & body wash were provided.
Coffee & hot water for tea were provided in the morning.
Transportation via golf cart from vehicle to tent was quick & appreciated. If you needed anything it was just a quick text away

My husband has never liked Camping. My kids have always wanted to go. The best of both worlds. Friendly service, fun activities. We all enjoyed seeing the wildlife near the property. We loved the option to cook out ourselves or use the onsite restaurant. I called ahead and asked about the beach areas for the nearby Bear Lake, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We are planning on coming back.

Was really looking forward to a relaxing stay at the tent with great views of the lake, what we got was something entirely different. The views aren't what they appear online, there's barns, gas stations, and chevrons with bright lights now that detract from the views of the lake. The tents (even the expensive $300-$500/night ones) are so close together you can hear your neighbors kids farting at night. Honestly we were hoping for a more relaxing and spaced out environment we could enjoy without having to bother or be bothered by our neighbors but that just isn't the case and frankly the campfire
