Expanding his role beyond design, he lead the integration of Environmental Packaging and Sustainability strategies into Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing organizations in the Aerospace and Heavy Truck Industries.
This strategic approach has resulted in packaging cost reductions greater than $15 Million and over 60% reduction in packaging waste benefiting both the bottom line and the environment. Today as Managing Partner of Cascadia Packaging Group, Doug leverages over 25 years experience in a variety of roles including Sales, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Packaging Engineering delivering strategic solutions to our customers.

Worldwide leading manufacturer and integrator of aircraft passenger cabin interior products for the commercial and business jet aircraft markets. Our client was awarded a contract to modify and retrofit Stow Bins on an existing fleet of 767 commercial aircraft for a German airline customer. Stow Bins and retrofit kits were to be packed in the Seattle, Washington area and air freighted to Germany for installation.
