Since 1990 we have focused primarily on one asset class; tax-exempt municipal securities. This singular focus has allowed us to deliver unique, disciplined tax-exempt investment solutions to our clients and permitted our deep and experienced team to develop lasting relationships with wealthy individuals, families and their advisors.
We view our clients' municipal bond portfolios as the safe harbor components of their overall investment accounts. We construct portfolios based upon each client's unique investment parameters including state of residency, tax status and risk profile. The municipal bond market is broad and inefficient.
Utilizes actively managed, barbell structured portfolios to provide the potential for enhanced risk/return characteristics. Invests primarily in highly rated tax-exempt general obligation bonds, essential service revenue bonds and higher education bonds. Portfolios are well diversified with generally no more than 5% exposure to any one credit (for accounts larger than $2 million).
