FoodWorks Livingston is locally owned and operated by community-minded folks, with roots and history both in Montana and in the grocery world. Lynette grew up in Deer Lodge, Montana with a mother and father who managed to feed 10 children on a phosphate miner's paycheck. Don grew up in Cottonwood, Minnesota, learning a passion for the small town grocery store business from his parents.
We truly value the partnerships we've built with the farmers, ranchers, suppliers, and vendors that help to fill FoodWorks' shelves with the quality and freshness you've come to expect. Learn more about these organizations and individuals below in our Vendor Spotlight!

Western Montana Growers Cooperative (WMGC) is a coalition of growers in the Flathead, Jocko, Mission and Bitterroot Valleys whose goal is to provide the market in our region with fresh, quality products from our farms. To reach that goal, the cooperative provides a wholesale marketing and delivery service for its members.

This is a nice clean store with a solid selection of Whole Foods and a gracious and helpful staff. However, they desperately need to step up their soup and sandwich game! I remember a time when the sandwiches came from the Oak st. Market in Bozeman and the soups were made by a local professional chef. At this time Foodworks was an absolute GoTo for a quick, delicious, and healthy lunch. At this point I struggle to stomach through a whole sandwich or bowl of soup, and I have tried repeatedly hoping that one day it would be as good as I remember. That is why I am writing this review. Hope... I am

Great little food market. It's what you would expect price wise for natural, organic produce. It has all the basics and seasonal produce. The staff is what made me find of this place. They joke with eachother and are kind to one another. You can tell they are happy (at least the staff working when I was there), which gets passed along to the customers! Very cool place. Would go back if I'm in town :)

Only grocery store on this end of town. A little pricey but that's to be expected when buying quality products. I love the soups and pre-made sandwiches. Really nice staff too.

Foodworks is pretty awesome. They often have very fresh local organic produce; other times the produce is less than fresh, and it can be a bit pricey. Today I found fresh goji berries grown in Livingston!
The staff is very friendly and super helpful. Deli items and baked goods are really delicious. Try the pies! For a small town, this is a really good health food store.
